Very good place for what we needed

Pros: Very conveniently located for onward travel, extremely helpful and friendly staff

Cons: Bathroom facilities could be upgraded

Great breakfast, spacious room in the mountains.

Pros: The apartement was spacious, clean, with view to a forest and field. Furniture were simole but practical. They expected us with nice local dinner. Breakfast room is really authentic with friendly staff and fresh, full Costa Rican breakfast. Kids even got hot chocolate! Garden is very nice.

Cons: Accomodation is close to main road, whish is steep, and trucks are rather loud.

Pros: Lovely hilltop accommodation, outside San Jose with green surroundings. Staff so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. It was quiet when we stayed but we felt looked after and relaxed here. Nice place after long flights and navigating driving out of the city at night, to finally relax and recover after journey from UK.

Cons: Closeness to road traffic although road was closed beyond the accommodation for our first night due to a small landslide. so there wasn’t any truck traffic at all first night. Unfortunately a build up of trucks waiting to use road once opened probably made it all the more noisy on our 2nd nights stay.

Lovely Overnight Stay

Pros: We had a great overnight stay at this unique property on our way to the Caribbean coast. Ruben was a very welcoming host and accommodated our early arrival. Recommended.

Wonderful host & teriffic staff

Pros: Staff is amazing, helpful and friendly. Apartment was very spacious. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Right off Route 32.

Cons: Only hot water could be hotter ;)

Pros: Nice place to stay right outside of San Jose! I enjoyed this lodge - it was much better than staying in the city on the day before our departing flight. It only takes 40 minutes to get to the airport, but it is an expansive property with great views, good food, and nice accommodations.

Mountain experience for overnight stay!

Pros: A nice mountain ranch where time stops, perfect for a one night stay while traveling acroos the country, only minutes from San Jose, if you wish to avoid City buzz. We enjoyed a walk around the property and garden, and we served a delicious dinner in the main lodge. Alex and Francis were so gracious! Our villa had a kitchennette and balcony, we stayed in Villa Seville. Our king size bed was comfy.

Cons: Only observationwas the water pressure for showering was minimal, but we made it work!

Nice setup tiny village with warm welcome

Pros: With a very warm welcome of our hosts at this beautiful location, we had a pleasant stay for 1 Day. Close at the highway but not a problem. The diner was very nice with their own cook. Ruben build this location with passion and kinda made it his own small Village.

Wonderful place with kindest people

Pros: Wonderful place with kindest people. The ranch area is stunning, we went for an early morning walk around and loved how many plants and birds. The room was tidy. We absolutely loved the dinner and Costa Rican breakfast, such a must try. Thank you so much for your hospitality!
