Basic stay in the jungle

Pros: Wilma and Franco are excellent hosts. They truly want to help you during your stay. The tent is well set up in the middle of the jungle. That means that the facilities are basic and eco-friendly. They have scents to keep the mosquitos away. The outdoor kitchen is really simple but got the job done. We liked the crabs around the tent, unfortunately our daughter was a bit afraid of them. Franco did his utmost best to continu our bioluminescence tour through the rain. If you don't want to walk to the toilet at night, they have a bucket for you to use (just like during my childhood camping trips)

Cons: Although we had been in Costa Rica for nearly 3 weeks, this was the place with the most animal noise during the night. Probably due to the mating season of the frogs, but the noice was so incredibly loud that it kept us up at night. Make sure to use the mosquito nets during the nights.

Great place and great hosts. Don’t hesitate, just go there!

Pros: All. Wilma and Franco ensured at all time that my family had all the comfort we needed and had a lot of equipment for out baby, even toys for our older child. The location in the jungle is great as well as the walk to the beach.

Pros: Kindness of the hosts, who took us out night kayaking to the bioluminescent bay! Very knowledgable on the area around us!

Memorable experience in the jungle.

Pros: Our stay was better than expected. The property is exactly as it states, a tent imersed in the jungle. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We even got a guided tour from their dog. She guided us through the jungle to the beach and back. It was truly a memorable experience.

Cons: Take bug spray and bring your own food in as the town is a bit of a drive away and eating out is expensive in the town. We spent $70 for a family of four for dinner. It's still worth the stay! It's was so hot but the individual fans kept us comfortable.

Pros: A l'abri dans la jungle, cet endroit est paisible. La tente a tout le confort nécessaire. Les hôtes sont disponibles et très sympathiques. Super sortie bioluminescence en kayak avec leur fils Chris. A faire. La cerise sur le gâteau : la plage après 20 min de marche. Seul au monde!

Parfait point de chute pour ce qui aime les endroits simples. On aurait pu y rester encore plus longtemps sans problème!
