Wunderbar!

Pros: Sehr schönes Haus in ländlicher Umgebung. Fantastische Vogelbeobachtungen von der Terrasse aus. Keilor ist ein toller Gastgeber. Wir könnten uns gut vorstellen, mit ihm auf Tour zu gehen. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt empfehlenswert.

Pros: L'hébergement est fantastique ! Vous pouvez admirez les oiseaux en prenant votre déjeuner ou en relaxant dans le jacuzzi. Des multiples hébergements, celui-ci était notre préféré !

Perfect base to explore authentic Sarapiqui

Pros: Keilor is very friendly and the perfect host -- frequently checking in to see if you need anything, providing recommendations, and showing you around. He is an expert birder. The best part is that you are surrounded by nature and can hear the river. There are so many amazing birds that you can see right off the deck. You will will be immersed in hummingbirds. You can also hear howler monkeys in the distance. It is the perfect base to explore Sarapiqui with a very authentic Costa Rican experience in a rural and less touristed/busy area. The house is in like-new condition with everything you need. The air conditioner is very cold and the shower has great hot water. The wifi worked great. The area is very safe, and there's a gate for added protection.

Cons: There are very friendly small dogs in the nearby houses that bark occasionally. Like most rural areas, it's near a farm with chickens/roosters, cows, and harmless bugs. The windows do not have mosquito nets, but we didn't see any biting bugs there.
