Luxury Villa Caoba- Private

A wonderful & relaxing stay in the most beautiful place.

Pros: The lovely photos don’t even do it justice. A lot of care has gone into these villas and gardens… it’s a really magical place. You feel surrounded my nature and the villa’s are beautifully done. Really comfortable, big beds and lovely bathrooms. The fans kept us cool at night even though the temp was high. Some reviews mention a problem with ants but we kept all food in the fridge and didn’t have a problem. Make sure you enter ‘Finca Chilanga’ into Waze/Google Maps in addition to the address provided on Booking . com - we just copied and pasted the address on our booking and ended up adventuring up a gnarly off road track that our brilliant 4wd only just about managed. Turned out we’d driven straight past it! Ooops. We only stayed for our final night in Costa Rica but could have definitely stayed longer. The pool was beautiful and refreshing too. And the hosts very friendly and helpful! Don’t hesitate to book!

Jolir halte en nature

Pros: - la vue est magnifique, les cabines sont très jolies et spacieuses, propriétaire très sympathique, entouré de nature, très grande propriété avec jungle, rivières, etc... - literie très confortable

Cons: À savoir, cela ne nous a pas dérangé, mais: - la cabine est vitrée donc il y aura de la lumiere tot le matin - il n' a pas de clim, mais nous n'avons pas eu trop chaud em janvier - se situe assez loin du prochain village, il vaut mieux réserver un repas sur place - le petit déjeuner est basique, le souper du soir assez cher mais bon

Un sitio para descansar y respirar

Pros: Las vistas de los montes son deliciosas. Las villas son muy cómodas (muy buenos baños y duchas). La amabilidad de los anfitriones hace todo más fácil.

Cons: La temperatura de la alberca podría ser un poco más cálida. Nos tocó una noche de mucho viento que no hizo tan fácil dormir por momentos.

Pros: Beautiful views, amazing property. The pool was stunning. The food was great. 11/10 - definitely recommend. The drive to the location was not as bad as some other reviews might suggest.

A truly Luxury and yet down to earth sanctuary!

Pros: Beautiful scenery! Wonderful view of the whole valley, the pool felt fantastic, the villa was well appointed… We enjoyed all the natural light and the two screened patio doors as well as the wraparound deck, the shower with the window to the outside was lovely, our host, John, answered within seconds any questions we had, they supplied any extras we needed it as well as fresh limes off the trees in the yard.. it was peaceful and an oasis! We would definitely recommend staying here

Cons: Be prepared for a long, winding and steep drive up the hill… Although they do lead to a beautiful view! It’s hard to find complaints, however, it got windy in the night and our patio door continually banged in the wind.

Pros: Gorgeous views, comfortable beds, attentive staff.

Cons: Pool was lovely but not heated. Sleeping with the doors open means no need for A/C, but the high winds caused the sliding doors and screens to bang and rattle throughout the night, making it hard to sleep.
