A car is mandatory

Pros: The villa is comfortable, with a nice pool, well-equipped kitchen, and good beds. Hacienda Pinilla is a private property with nice facilities for a fee. It was 102F when I stayed there, so there were no options to go outside when the sun was up. The beaches are private, so we encountered few people there. It was nice, but rip currents kept us away from swimming.

Cons: The keys were left at the main gate, and there were no instructions for each time we returned to the gates. We should say the address first. I told them the reservation name and several times; they did not find us, so we were left waiting to get to the villa. Simple instructions at check-in could save time and avoid waste of time. It is only possible to stay in this village if you have a car. There is nothing to eat at check-in. We arrived at 10 p.m. hungry after a delayed flight, and there was nothing to eat in the villa or the neighborhood. A few fruits or a cracker would be a lovely welcome to guests. Small things make a huge difference. The closest town is Tamarindo, a 30-minute drive away. Consider this when planning your meals. Unfortunately, we stayed there for four nights and at the third day the pool was dirty and green.

Pros: Completely furnished. The utilities and appliances were perfect. Amazing view on the grassy area and ocean.

Pros: La casa era excepcional!!!.. la calidad de los muebles, el entorno, el servicio de limpieza, el market, todo muy muy bueno

Cons: Estimados inaceptable q un complejo de esa calidad tenga un acceso de 6 km, peor que el ralla Dakar!!!!... y el beach club deja mucho q desear, principalmente porque no se ve la playa (avellana, de las mas lindas de Costa Rica) y con un pasillo para acceder a la playa

Cons: Too comercial To obvious it was built to rent without the proper amenities for a luxury villa (Limited kitchen ware)

Pros: Excelente lugar para descansar y aislarse del ruido

Pros: Limpieza, lo espacioso, atención, zonas verdes, seguridad

Cons: De la habitación principal no me gustó el colchón y las camas sonaban al moverse

Très bon séjour

Pros: Magnifique maison parfaitement équipée avec une très belle piscine privée. La superbe plage d'Avellana est à proximité.

Cons: De nombreux travaux de construction sont à proximité (dommage) et les routes d'accès sont en mauvaises états.

Pros: Very nice and comfortable house for a big group. Close to many beaches.

Apartamento muy lindo pero no corresponde a las fotos

Pros: En las fotos se veía que tenía piscina y no tenía . Tampoco era frente al mar

Pros: The house was really comfortable, people were very friendly except the girls in the reception. They had no clue about anythign we asked.

Cons: Sunbeds at the club house are not free, it is not specified anywhere, you have to pay 10usd, and may use it for consumption. The only free sunbeds are the ones in playa mansita, next to the marriot, but no one informed that when we arrived, since the people in the reception were not kind enough and did not know.
