Iceland 🇮🇸

Pros: The apartment was very spacious and clean. Close to the airport around 30min walk. The apartment had a fridge and a water boiler with free coffee and tea. Hot shower and they had towels.

Cons: Bit of a walk from everything and it was hard to find the personal on arrival.

Surprisingly comfortable and clean!

Pros: The proximity to the airport was great as we arrived at midnight. The room was very clean and had everything we needed for the night. The girl who met us was very friendly and helpful.

Cons: The Taxi driver had no idea where it was. There was no sign, the road was dark and it's behind a bar. Walking in, we had Serious doubts for our safety but it turned out ok. The next morning, the walk to the bus for San Jose was only 10 minutes away. It needs a bit of upkeep but otherwise great for a night.

Great option near SJO airport

Pros: Not too far from the airport, walkable in half an hour. It's located inside a small street from the main road. There are bakeries, small restaurants, and mini-marts nearby.

Cons: Although it is by the train tracks, the trains only started to pass by around 530am but we were just about to leave for the airport. Wear ear plugs if this is a concern. The room rate was pretty reasonable with everything considered. The place was pretty spacious.

Pros: Very close to the airport. Nice accommodations and bed. Personnel was very friendly.

Cons: Little difficult to get a ride to the airport at 4:00 in the morning.

Practical option near the airport

Pros: The rooms are clean and well-equiped. It is very close to the airport, you can even walk (18 minutes), although along a bigger road.

Cons: It is next to a bigger road and airport, so if you are sensitive to noise for sleeping then consider ear plugs (because it might not be better in other places aroud the airport).

Pros: Location next to the airport was great-just 5$ for a taxi.Also city mall, McDonald's and Walmart nearby

Pros: its a 20min walk from the airport. Simple and clean place to stay. Close to Walmart. they helped to arrange a driver for an early flight departure the next morning at a reasonable price.

Cons: No a/c just a fan, cant leave the door open overnight so it was a little too warm trying to sleep.
