Best place to stay close to the airport

Pros: That was a very comfortable and convenient stay close to the airport. The pick-up and drop-off service works perfectly and they took the very best care of us. We were also able to store our luggage at their place which was a huge bonus. I’ll definitely come back here again.

So convenient for airport pickup and drop off

Pros: The collection from our rental car return and taking to the airport the following day. Nice area. Hotel was exceptionally helpful.

Comfortable, spotless, safe.

Pros: Wonderful staff, very helpful. The place was spotless and comfortable. It is in a gated village and so feels safe. It is just outside san jose which means its green and quiet, although not far from the airport. It was a treat to be collected. We enjoyed a swim in the pool. We walked 2 blocks to a supermarket, open til 9pm.

Cons: I think it would be helpful to have a list of restaurants nearby for the hungry travellers to find some food, as there is nothing to eat at the guest house.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Zeus Guesthouse and highly recommend it.

Pros: Zeus Guesthouse is located close to the San José International Airport and the adjoining domestic airport, and provides free shuttle service. José, the owner and host, is very hospitable and greets you warmly. His drivers are courteous and helpful. When we asked José about local restaurants, and nearby retail food markets, he gave us great recommendations and offered to have his drivers take us there and pick us up afterwards. He also explained the best way to visit the centre of San José and had a driver take us to the airport to catch a local bus downtown. The service is outstanding.

Cons: This is a family operated guesthouse, so don`t expect the latest decor, but it has a swimming pool and a fun, cozy ambiance. The showers are rather weak but that is probably true of many local places. Our friends, who were on the second floor, were aware of other guests arriving and leaving at early morning hours, so it`s best to have earplugs if you want a good night`s sleep. All in all, though, the minor inconveniences are easily overlooked because of the friendly host and wonderful service.

A beautiful guesthouse for your last day in CR

Pros: The room we had was amazing, spacious and very clean. The hosts were very welcoming, caring and ready to help for every problem or question. They offered to drive us to a sanctuary and a restaurant. As we stayed two nights, we could enjoy the pool and the quietness in the late morning. Airport transport was perfect.

Cons: Our room was towards a main road and very noisy during rush hour. But only two rooms face the street, all the other rooms overlook a very safe and quiet residential area.

Pros: The hotel was very clean and pretty new. The staff is very helpful and they take me to and from the airport

Pros: Very helpful staff, great pick-up / drop-off service! All perfectly on time & comfortable rides. Its the best option for in case you fly in late in Costa Rica or if you fly early in the morning.
