Super accomodation close to SJO

Pros: Very friendly owner of accomodation showed us entire apartment which was perfect for our purposes. Entire apartment clean, nice and simple. Really very close to airport. We definitely recommend this accommodation to everyone for at least the last night before leaving Costa Rica or just after arriving in Costa Rica.

Cons: Difficult access to street, there are security guard and they need explanation why we want entering area. Also common traffic jams in area, which little bit reduce accessibiity with San Jose city center

Best place to stay at nearby airport

Pros: Nice apartment close to the SJO airport. All the facility included in this apartment. Host is also very nice and kind.

Great accomodations in a calm neighborhood

Pros: The room and space inside the apartment. The bed/mattress. Good warm shower. Well equipped kitchen. Washing machine. Privacy. Kind neighbors & very friendly and helpful owners. Parking available. Old school TV. Pet friendly. Calm neighborhood. Nearby many shops.

Cons: In September you might encounter many Moskitoes, make sure to be equipped with a a good fly flap. Furniture in the living room was a little to hard for my taste.

A lovely apartment close to the airport!

Pros: It was spacious, clean and close the airport! Our host communicated in advance and throughout the stay and took extra care to make sure we knew where everything was. He gave us top tips for local cuisine and even offered us a lift home when the rain had picked up. A lovely stay, thank you.

Perfect place to stay near the airport

Pros: The apartment was perfect. Run by a lovely family who were very welcoming. It is in a safe neighbourhood close to the airport.

Great for a one night stay close to the airport

Pros: The host was friendly and spoke good English. He was waiting for us when we arrived and had a couple local snacks available for us to try. The apartment is in a semi-private neighborhood with a guard at the entrance, and there was a gate to the property as well, so we felt safe. It was a reasonable walk to a very large mall where we found an ATM and a Kolbi store to activate a local SIM card. Several restaurants were also a short walk away. The wifi worked well, there was a small kitchen with whatever you would need to cook a basic meal and a niced sized fridge, and the shower had hot water. The living room was on the small size but fine for a short stay. We didn't need to use the laundry, but it was nice that it was there as an option, with instructions in English as to how to use it.

Cons: It was stuffy at night but we weren't able to open the windows without letting mosquitoes in. Typical for Costa Rica, there was some motorbike noise at night until about 2300.
