Nala Luxury Living - Santa Teresa - Costa Rica

Great stay, beautiful apartments, helpful staff

Pros: Clean rooms, our housekeeper/cleaning staff was super efficient and considerate! <3 The rooms had beautiful interior design, and the apartment was well equipped. Lovely pool area, very instagrammable, location was great (close to the main road but still tucked away from the noise and dust). Staff usually responded within minutes if there were any issues or questions, excellent customer service.

Cons: The parking lot was small and driving to the property was a bit difficult, narrow and steep road to the house. The bedroom had a bit of a moldy smell, and I noticed it on my clothes after we left. :( On our last day, the pool was not in use, and shower water was disconnected for a short period, which was a bit inconvenient. In response, the staff offered a credit for our next stay in Nala, which was nice.

Stunning apartment in fab location

Pros: Stunning apartment, lovely pool and yoga space - kept very clean

Cons: There need to be more hooks in the rooms for towels and things, also the shower lets out a lot of water into the rooms

Relaxing stay at Nala

Pros: Great room (1 bedroom) with functional kitchenette. Daily housekeeping was unexpected but welcome. Staff were extremely pleasant. Jessi the concierge was amazing - she helped with everything we needed quickly and efficiently over whatsapp (including arrival details, departure transportation, restaurant and tour recommendations, and even for medical clinic details when my partner had an unexpected urgent need to see a physician). Pool was great. Gym deck was quiet and useful. Everything about Nala was a peaceful retreat from the hectic main road, while remaining a short walk to multiple cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, and access to Carmen beach. We quite enjoyed this retreat for a week and would recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation a bit on the quieter area of Santa Teresa.

Loved it and would come back

Pros: Access to the property was via a key pad on the main gate and into your room. The hosts use WhatsApp to communicate which is super easy and they are very responsive. Access details are sent to you ahead of your arrival so it was all very smooth. The rooms are very stylish and the bed was super comfy. Location is great and handy for restaurants and beach access all within easy walking distance.

Cons: On a couple of occasions there was nowhere to sit by the pool so if you didn't want to hit the beach or go out, your options were slightly limited all be it you could use the hammock on the terrace but ours was at the back of the room so didn't get much sun and you felt a bit hemmed in. The shower was quite open so the bathroom floor tended to get quite wet so mind your step! I am being super picky though...

Excellent stay in corner suite.

Pros: The location was great, just minutes from a stunning wide surfing beach and the shops. The place is tucked away and makes you feel safe and comfortable in this quiet corner. Nice pool and great rooftop platform for yoga, light weights routine where you can watch howler monkeys in the morning.

Cons: The room we booked said it had a balcony. But the room they initially gave us was a dark ground floor room. They kindly upgraded us to a one bedroom suite when I pointed out that balcony meant it was above the ground floor. The suite was lovely, big kitchen/living area, generous bathroom and good size bedroom. They were very gracious hosts.

Relaxing & super well located

Pros: - very calm and super well located (only 5 min walking distance from beach and Main Street) - coffee machine in the room and the well-equipped outdoor kitchen - Pool - very cozy yoga deck - Jenny helped us with renting an ATV and gave a lot of helpful recommendations for Yoga, fishing trips and restaurants.

Luxurious living

Pros: This is a beautiful place, close to the beach and an amazing garden. The service was excellent!

Will come again

Pros: This place is amazing. Make sure to have WhatsApp - anything you need the staff will provide the service via WhatsApp. Outdoor cold and warm showers near the pool are a nice touch. Rooms are beautiful and well thought out. From the earplugs next to the bed for when nature from animals wake you up early to the beach towels provided and all the little details . Value for money and very cozy luxury vibe for a good price range

Cons: Hill is a little steep - but it’s not to bad

Tolle Unterkunft <3 wir würden wieder kommen!

Pros: Uns hat alles gefallen!! Es war so schön, super eingerichtet, mit Pool, Kühlschrank, eine kleine Gemeinschaftsküche. Die Mitarbeitenden super freundlich und immer zu erreichen. Perfekte Lage, nah am Strand und nahe zu sämtlichen Restaurants. Würden wir auf jeden Fall empfehlen!

Cons: Die Aussicht von der Terssse war eine Baustelle/Parkplatz/Hinterhof, aber da kann ja die Unterkunft nicht wirklich was dafür. Genauso wenig wie für die krähenden Hähne in der Früh :D und es gibt Ohropax im Zimmer, vermutlich genau dafür
