Authentic Costa Rican Stay in Nature

Pros: What can I say? Oscar was an absolute dream! Even before we arrived he had organised the boat for us and arranged any trips we wanted during our stay in Tortuguero. His mother met us at the boat and they welcomed us into the house. We felt like true locals staying in an authentic Costa Rican house. There were no mosquito screens, so we just kept our bedroom door closed, which worked well. The location was perfect - tucked away in town, just a five-minute walk from everything we needed. Oscar took us on a night walk and it was pure magic - we saw so much. It was wonderful to escape the crowds and enjoy a personalised tour. I’d highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for an authentic small-town Costa Rican experience with a great tour guide!

Pros: Great space for a family. It's really nice to be met from the boat. Kids enjoyed swinging in the hammocks.

Cons: Tad noisy as it is in the town. However it is a short walk to everything

Pros: Very close to center of the city and natural park, yet out of the main street. We had two bedroom house with a garden just for ourselves.

Cons: It can get noisy late or very early. But it wasn't much of an issue.

Pros: Ubicación, el amoblado (muy completo) y la tranquilidad del lugar.

Cons: Que no tenga la pared del baño completa, pues uno escucha a la otra persona cuando hace sus necesidades

Pros: Oscar e sua mamma sono stati eccezionali nell'organizzazione il nostro soggiorno nella loro casa . Ci hanno dato informazioni utili per il trasporto e anche organizzato i tour. La casa è ampia e ha anche una piccola terrazza esterna per stare all'aperto. Nel puro centro. Ottima soluzione anche per chi ha bambini.

Séjour très agréable

Pros: L'accueil parfait d'Oscar et de sa maman, la maison typique, la cour avec le hamac, la situation géographique près du parc de Tortuguero et de tous commerces.

Cons: Juste les aboiements des chiens des environs la nuit.

Pros: The host Agueda was really helpful with finding someone to fish, cooked for us the fish and it was really delicious The house is like in the pictures, good wifi , very central.

Cons: air conditioning in one room only At night it is very hot and humid
