Very enjoyable place with fantastic views - we just stayed here and chilled instead of rushing round attractions

Pros: Location is just fantastic, overlooking Arenal Lake. The staff are really helpful. Pool is a bonus! Lots of birds to see, and other wildlife sometimes too. The last km of track is a little daunting, but fine with a 4x4 and possible (at least in dry season) without 4WD. We were in room 3 which is huge with great views.

Cons: No bedside lights or low-level light - it’s either bright ceiling light or dark.

Pros: Views are amazing. Breakfast was very tasty. 🐦 🐒 and other animals can be watched from the comfort of your deck. Must try their famous pizza.

Cons: Roads going up are bumpy but worth the experience.

Spectacular location not too far from town

Pros: Outstanding scenery and great rooms. This is a truly unique place to stay. There is a small restaurant on site. Lovely pool overlooking the lake, volcano and souroundings

Cons: Not a complaint, but it is quite a steep rough road to rhe property.

A real slice of paradise

Pros: It was a fantastic rustic lodge, with unmatched views of the Arenal area. If you have the pleasure of staying in lodge 6 and are an animal lover, please keep on treating the little black cat well. We named her Totope, and she will quite literally be an extra guest.

Cons: The WiFi was intermittent, but what do you expect for such a peaceful and secluded area? A worthwhile exchange

Peaceful stay with wildlife and beautiful view of the lake

Pros: We loved the peaceful location. There was lots of wildlife on the property, birds, roads and giant butterflies were a highlight. The view of the lake was incredible and the pool was great. Rooms were spacious and we loved the covered patio at the back

Cons: Some of the window screens had holes in so we didn’t want to open these windows. There were still plenty of windows with undamaged screens which we could open though.

Amazing views

Pros: Location is amazing! Perfect to get away from busy (and kind of uggly) La Fortuna, while still being close to the Arenal Volcano park entrance. Rooms are not fancy but comfortable, and the views, garden and swimming pool more than make up for it. There is a restaurant (and even massage place) on site so you don’t always need to take your car in the evening for dinner if you don’t feel like it. Best to have at least SUV to get there.

Great Place to Stay!

Pros: 1. The views were absolutely spectacular! 2. The sounds of nature was music to our ears! 3. The breakfast in the morning was delicious! 4. The staff, especially at reception, were extremely helpful in coordinating and booking activities. If done through reception, there was a discount. 5. Very responsive when communicating on WhatsApp 6. Loved the views from the pool. 7. Very peaceful!
