Villas Paradise Arenal Volcano Lake View

Pros: A very nice renovated room with a view of the lake and Arenal volcano. It includes a restaurant with quite good food.

Cons: If you don't have a car, I recommend finding accommodation closer to La Fortuna. We didn't have a car and had quite a bit of trouble getting to the places we wanted to go. Transportation was hard to find and a bit overpriced.

spectacular view on volcanoe

Pros: The view on the volcanoe is spectacular. The room is large, and well equiped The breakfast is good as well

Cons: The property is quite 'far out', and a car is necessary. Even with a car, it takes some time to get to aces like 'Fortona'. Also, considering the room has a kitchen, basic things like salt and cooking oil would have been appreciated. None of these are present, and you will have to acquire these yourself

Lovely stay.

Pros: We were very unlucky with the weather - but i believe this stay would be magical with lovely weather. Surroundings were great tho & breakfast aswell!

Pros: Everything was perfect! The view from the room was magnificent, and it’s clean and spacious room was good to be relaxing. the atmosphere was tranquil and peaceful, and we could enjoy the beauty of nature. All the staff were friendly, especially Ms Daniela, the reservation manager & receptionist, was so kind and gave us full of assistance for our stay. Thank you, Daniela! The breakfast and dinner were very tasty. Strongly recommend for everyone. We definitely want to stay again if we come back to Costa Rica.

Cons: It’s not about the property. If public transportation (bus service) are more frequently, at least twice or three times a day, it’s more easier to access to the property, we think.

A beautiful villa with a once in a lifetime volcano view.

Pros: The view from the property is absolutely stunning and out of this world. The restaurant also has amazing views and the privacy of the villa is great. We spent a lot of time just sitting on the porch as it was so beautiful.

Cons: The room has tea and coffee but could have a little more. Just the basics like some simple snacks. However this is nit picking at a perfect perfect villa.

Terrific location and outlook and lovely room but disappointing restaurant

Pros: Stunning, peaceful hillside location with magnificent view, abundant birdlife and flowers in the garden, away from the grockley bustle of La Fortuna but close enough to all the activities around Arenal. Friendly reception. The room was clean and the large balcony was a real bonus in the hot weather; the small kitchenette was also useful. Large en-suite bathroom. Overall, it offered good value for money in this tourist hotspot.

Cons: We would have liked proper chairs inside the room and not just the stools and the outdoor chairs on the balcony. Oddly, the bed had no mattress protector undersheet. In contrast to the room and reception, we were very unimpressed by the on-site restaurant. There are only a handful of chalets so it's understandable there is no buffet breakfast but the very basic choice of yoghurt and granola or an unexciting gallo pinto plus a glass of juice and coffee left us feeling shortchanged. Service in the restaurant (which was quite modern with a terrific outlook) both morning and evening was just adequate and the food was overpriced.

Picture perfect location

Pros: Idyllic position. Simple but delightful rooms with the most amazing incredible views of Arenal ( lake & volcano) . Delicious coffee, breakfast and supper. stayed for 3 nights which was just enough ( 2 would have been too short as so much to do in the area) .

Super location with breathtaking views

Pros: Very nice bungalows, comfy beds, nice A/C and fan to cool down a little bit. The lake and volcano view is absolutely amazing and the colors at sunset are breathtaking. The ratio (in September) is perfect and the included breakfast was yummy (you get the breakfast in the restaurant \

Pros: The view from our room was just amazing!!!! Do not hesitate to book here if you’re looking for a place more in the nature and not full of tourists. You wake up to the birds. The room was huge, very well equipped. Ask the reception for the taxi drivers number Adan. He was great too! The food in ghettos restaurant is delicious.
