The perfect place to re-charge

Pros: Amazing place, supernice cottages next to pool and beach, yoga classes, great surfing, sloth in the tree☺️

We loved that place

Pros: Location direct on the beach Cosy, quiet, with yoga and surf lessons available. Friendly staff and great gardener. Many hammocks to swing in the shadow.

Cons: Food was good but some beef disches could be improved.

Lovely place

Pros: We loved the place and the setting at the beach. The staff was super friendly (great barkeeper 😉) and the rooms are really nice! The food is really nice, too! You can book yoga, massages and surfing lessons directly with the accomodation.

Cons: Unfortunately the kitchen seems a little oberwhelmed if there is a big group at breakfast. It takes very long for the food to arrive. They do bring you a bowl of fruit beforehand though.

Pros: Very nice and cosy accommodation with direct beach acces and very good vibe. The gardens are wonderfully maintained and the pool is Paradise.

Cons: The restaurant (also breakfast) is not exceptional and food could have more attention. The bathroom in our bungalow was very basic and small and not comfortable in line with the rest of the room and resort.

Pros: Encantada was the perfect place to finish our 2 weeks in Costa Rica. After lots of fun and adventure we could relax and enjoy being pampered. The cottages are cute, staff is great, excellent yoga. The beach is almost empty in low season. Perhaps less focused on families, but a real treat all the same.

Cons: Avoid if you look for loud discos and bars. Also avoid if you want to see wild animals around the hotel, the cats are the main attraction here. But if relaxing is your aim, this is the place for you!

Pros: Beautiful, very well-kept and super-clean property. Perfect location, very friendly staff, and careful gardening. We visited with a group of friends (several families with small kids) and really enjoyed our time at the beach, around the pool, and in the restaurant. We will be back!

Cons: The air conditioning in the room could not be regulated well (either on or off). Some of the breakfast options could be prepared with a bit more love.

Wonderful place with perfect location

Pros: The staff was very friendly and very welcoming l. Little issues were attended and solved immediately in a very professional way. The location couldn't be better, right on the beach. The pool was a saltwater pool and had the perfect size. The house I rented was very clean and nice decorated and we felt very comfortable, it had a well equipped kitchen.

A little gem on a secluded beach.

Pros: Encantada is a little gem on a beautiful beach. The staff were all helpful and friendly, the food was great, and the location is amazing. We had the cottage with a view of the ocean - one of our best rooms out of years of travels.

Comfortable stop next to the beach

Pros: Love hearing the crashing of the waves on the shore! The ocean cottage is fab with its little deck looking at the ocean. Boho vibe, beautiful planting, like a little oasis. Comfy bed, great pillows, good showers! Easy to find and fairly close to the highway. Great first stop from a long flight! Breakfast is nice with lovely fresh fruit.

Cons: The barking dogs next door are annoying. I think the staff could be more welcoming especially considering its our 4th time visiting! Meal in the evening was ok but service so slow we cancelled desert. On the beach there are no cushions/pads on sun beds which are just pallets. So only two big double sunbeds pool had plenty of more comfortable sun loungers. Beach towels were actually just like a thin pieces of cotton!

Pros: The small, boutique resort was quaint, intimate, comfortable, and picturesque. It was ideally located on a beautiful, long, sandy beach. The staff were all amazing, friendly people who provided excellent service with big smiles. The gourmet local food and drinks in the restaurant and bar were very tasty.

Cons: The bathroom facilities in our room were cramped.
