City hacienda charm

Pros: Cariari B'n'B offers a home feeling in Costa Rica to pause, rest and get ready for new adventures. I stayed there on 3 occasions during my tour. Laurie, her family and Miriam were great to me and made my CR experience even more memorable. I really loved my room with bathroom- the bed was comfy and it's all super clean, which helps to fully relax. The breakfast is the best I've had in CR.

Pros: Exclusively Breakfast with Laurie, an amazing lady and the owner if this hotel. Paris, is this your standard at the Hilton, too. Even so, I would prefer Laurie. Best breakfast every day the Guanababana-Mango Juice is a dream and so healthy.

Pros: Laurie was an amazing host anticipating our every need. It was great to get recommendations for local restaurants and things to do in town.

Warm welcome and very helpful

Pros: The property has character and the breakfast was outstanding. The hostess had snacks and a drink ready on our arrival having organised transport to and from the airport.

Loved every minute of my stay

Pros: From the moment I have arrived it felt like home. I had my laundry done on the same day. The dinner was amazing. Breakfast was delicious. Nature all around. Lorraine is amazing. Took care of every detail If I need to sum it in one word: Amazing !!!

A warm, welcoming and comfortable stay with generous hosts

Pros: From the moment I arrived I was made to feel completely at home. This is a lovely, cosy, home-like place with a beautiful big terrace to relax on and a backyard that is visited by wildlife including parrots, squirrels and iguanas. Laurie and Miriam really took care of me, including being invited to join for a wonderful Christmas lunch with friends. The rooms are very comfortable, impeccably clean and the breakfast is generous and delicious. I highly recommend this welcoming, friendly BnB.

Fabulous colonial grand old house and the warmest welcome ever

Pros: Cariari is the best choice for me and my friend. The environment is all perfect. The host helped us so much and invited us to join the Thanks Giving dinner. We feel we are not only a visitor, but also a part of the local community. I will definitely revisit in the future! Valencia.
