Amazing

Pros: Amazing small hotel with super friendly and helpful owners and staff. Very delicious breakfast, amazing location and stunning garden inside. Small nice pool ads to cozy and relaxed atmosphere. All rooms are equipped with terraces with hammocks which boost the whole atmosphere!

Cons: I felt wi-fi coverage in room is not that good in comparison with terrance but lets be fair - you are there to avoid it ;)

A truly pleasant and welcoming place.

Pros: I had a great stay and would definitely come back. When I arrived the Wi-Fi in my apartment wasn’t working, the host moved me to a smaller room with better connection. It was still very nice, and to compensate she kindly offered an extra night, which I really appreciated. The breakfast and cleaning staff were also fantastic—warm, helpful and always smiling.

Pros: I love that the hotel is close to Santa Teresa beach, but still quiet. Everything is super clean and well kept, and you can also rent boards and get surf lessons. Everyday there is a small, but tasty breakfast. All the people who work at Lucero are so kind and helpful, which made the stay even better. I will definitely come back!

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Cozy. Clean. No noise. Yet 2 steps from ththe best surf beach and restaurants. Great service from Marike careful and kind 🙏

Garden room not for us

Pros: Beautiful property, nice small pool, very good breakfast, the bed was super comfy (with linen sheets), room very clean and quiet. The owner was also very nice and helpful.

Cons: Some people may like this (we didn't) - the garden room has a bathroom outside of your room. While some may enjoy this as the tropical experience, I - being very popular in the mosquito community - had a hard time with that and got a handful of bites just going to the bathroom. So it's something to note if you are considering booking the garden room. I do have to note that the host was very nice and accommodating in finding us another room when we didn't like the arrangement.

Beautiful property, very comfortable and the surfing is excellent

Pros: Breakfast was great - wide variety from fruit to toast, eggs and amazing pancakes!

Cons: A bit more assistance with booking activities (aside from surfing) would have made it even better

Sentirsi a casa

Pros: Noi soggiornavamo nella stanza glamping. Bagno e doccia semi all' aperto. Camera essenziale ma pulitissima. Plus? Lenzuola di lino. La colazione buonissima,le signore molto carine . Zona piscina super rilassante. Giardino curato.

Pros: Le personnel sur place était incroyablement dévoué.

Cons: Le fait qu’il n’y ait pas de gestionnaires sur place rendait la communication plus difficile. Ils n’étaient pas très efficaces dans la réponse à nos questions via email ou message texte.

Pros: Erst hatten wir das Zimmer mit dem Bad außen und fanden es iwie schade, dass wir keine Stühle hatten um auch Zeit draußen unter Dach zu verbringen wenn es regnet. Wir hatten auch kein warmes Wasser die ersten 2 Tage, dachten es liegt am Stromausfall in der Gegend. Aber dann haben wir gleich ein Upgrade bekommen für das Apartment. Das war super schön, nicht so ein bequemes Bett wie beim ersten Zimmer aber ok ◡̈ Hatten auch immer Onyx den netten Hund vom Hotel bei uns! Liebten ihn sofort, das Personal war super nett und die Chefin Marieke immer über Whats App zu erreichen für Fragen, wenn das Internet in der Stadt mal ging 😂 leckeres Frühstück, immer saubere Zimmer!

Cons: Bei der Ankunft war keiner da und es wurde erst am selben Tag gefragt wann wir ankommen, blöd wenn man kein Internet am Handy hat. Die Rezeption war nicht ausgeschrieben und ne kleine Info wie ‚wenn sie ankommen schreiben sie dieser und dieser Nummer‘ wäre gut gewesen. Ein paar vom Hotel musste uns dann helfen, weil wir irgendwie kein Internet am Handy hatten da kein Empfang und der Strom in der Stadt ausgefallen war. Also kam alles zusammen wo keiner was dafür konnte aber ne kleine Info wäre cool, weil man dann doch total lost am Pool steht und nicht weiter weis, danach war aber alles top !!
