A hidden gem

Pros: We stayed this hidden gem of a hotel for one night on our way to a white-water rafting trip. The hotel is formed of a compound with each of the rooms facing inward into a beautiful garden area. The hotel sits close to the town’s bustling main square which has plenty of shops and restaurants, but inside it has a very tranquil and secluded feel to it so we were absolutely delighted when we stepped in from the street. A huge breakfast was provided in the kitchen area in the morning, including pancakes, eggs and fruit as well as gallo pinto. There was secure parking within the compound, which was reassuring but also meant that luggage could be kept in the car while still being easily accessible. We would highly recommend this place if you are passing through Turrialba.

Great find in Turrialba

Pros: Excellent location, service, rooms, people! Centrally located, easy access to all tours, canyons, rafting etc. Really a great place to stay when in Turrialba!

Pros: Sehr tolle Lage. Toast mit Eier war extrem lecker. Der Barkeeper hat uns sehr leckere Cocktails vorbereitet.

Cons: Der Kaffee beim Frühstück war auf zwei Tassen Kaffee begrenzt, dabei musste man für die zweite Tasse fast betteln. Für den Preis von 180 €/Nacht) eine Schande. Das Personal beim Frühstück unmotiviert, extrem langsam (ich weiß, was pura vida heißt!!) und auch nicht besonders freundlich. Am letzten Tag haben wir 45 Minuten aufs Frühstück gewartet. Fakt - nur die Lage zu verrechnen, ist nict genug. Nicht für uns.

Pros: Hotel com excelente atendimento, destacando-se pela hospitalidade e gentileza dos proprietários. Localização privilegiada no centro da cidade e comodidade de estacionamento próprio, embora com capacidade limitada (3 vagas).

Pros: Cozy. Feels like home. Decoration is Amazing. Rooms are comfy and beautiful. I like that there is a garage area. The place feels secure and friendly. José is a wonderful host. Thank you.

Cons: Walls need to be painted. The fountain area needs maintenance. Overall, the building needs maintenance. It is an amazing place, but it could be better presented. Attention to the ''amahacas'', I used one and risked falling. Maybe Puff will work better.

Turrialba B&B is a friendly, safe, clean, and comfortable place to stay.

Pros: My husband and I loved the room specially since it had air conditioning and was very clean. The staff was excellent, welcoming, friendly, and helpful.

Cons: The room was on the pricy side compared to other hotels in the area. We are new to Turrialba and have not sampled other accommodations so I can't make an accurate comparison.
