A truly unique, raw and real Costa Rican jungle experience
Pros: Our hosts Aharon adn Nicole went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and draw us into the ethos of this special Eco lodge. Staying here feel truly special - totally remote, right in the jungle, disconnected from the world.
Cons: It would hae been good to know that the lodge is off grid and power cuts out between around 10pm and 5pm - we were caught out with no cell charge.

Fun experience and delicious breakfast!
Pros: Fun lodge right in front of the beach. It was an experience sleeping without windows as well, as the lodge doesn’t have any. The hosts are very kind and assist you anytime during your stay. Breakfast is included and is honestly delicious! Room facilities are great!
Cons: No hot water and a rather long drive to the village of Drake Bay.

Pros: Amazing private place, with the beach some meters away. Beautiful garden! We could listen the waves at night and the birds in the morning, it was an authentic experience in Costa Rica. The staff was very nice with us. Nice open space kitchen.
Cons: It is far from drake bay so it would be better to have a car. We had to go by taxi (30 dollars from drake bay center, each journey). We went without a car and couldn’t go to any restaurant. However, the staff were really nice and took me to the nearest supermarket to buy food so that we could cook.

Pros: Best place ever, so remote. Song of ocean, monkeys, aras on place, natural klima from the ocean (wind). We had a Trip to the park (50min drive) Aaron wake up at 4.30, made us a breakfast (he even drive in front of us, so we. Didnt have to look where to go) .. We were with 3 year old. And they let us use the kitchen, and fridge. Shop wos 10min drive away. I would like to stay longer. Thank you so mutch!

Perfect place to stay while visiting Drake's Bay.
Pros: The cabins are simple but clean and appointed very nicely. The breakfast was an abundance of fresh fruits, eggs, and bread. The place is family owned and I can see the hard work that they have put into the cabins. They are located very close to the beach so you will hear the ocean waves as you sleep. They are a short drive away from Drake's Bay but to not stay in tourist central is so worth it.
Cons: This was a great experience. I don't have any complaints.

A beautiful tucked away getaway
Pros: This place is stunning. It's so remote that you have the entire beach to yourself. The huts are beautiful and well looked after. The hosts always ask what time you would like your breakfast and a lovely breakfast was always made on time, even at 5am when needed! Highly recommended this hotel if you are looking for peace and quiet, with a beautiful beach to watch Parrots and Halloween crabs for. 10/10

Nos sentimos como en casa, pero en la playa!!!!
Pros: Estamos muy contentos con la estancia aquí y lo recomendamos mucho !!!!!!! 🥳🫶🏻 Incluye el desayuno y además riquísimo y super contundente!!!! Está la playa en frente con unos atardeceres espectaculares! (Adjuntamos fotos) Los anfitriones super buenos y simpáticos (Aaron y Nicol). Se nos pinchó una rueda y nos echaron una mano muy muy rápido, nos acercaron a las actividades en el pueblo (Drake) que estaba como a 40 minutos en moto y kuat y nos ayudaron a poner una rueda nueva. La zona común y la cocina están muy bien equipada para cocinar (la nevera es compartida en la zona común). La zona donde se encuentra está en mitad de la selva profunda, merece la pena pasar unos días para desconectar bien bien!
Cons: Por poner puntos a las íes, cuando llegamos la habitación no estaba bien barrida. La cabaña no es atractiva por el espacio, igual un armario para dejar la ropa no estaría mal. Para llegar hasta el alojamiento tienes que ir por caminos de tierra con grandes surcos (recomiendo ir con un buen coche). Pone que hay servicio de lavar ropa (lavadora) pero es de pago. Y, el wifi no llega a la cabaña, solo a la cabaña principal donde hay cocina.

Ein Paradies für Ruhesuchende
Pros: Eine sehr ruhige Lage mitten im Vogelpardies, direkt am Strand der nahezu menschenleer ist. Aaron und sein Team sind sehr bemühte Gastgeber, die für ihre Gäste auch eine eigene Dschungel- oder Bootstour abseits der Touristenrouten anbieten. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet!
Cons: Obwohl der Ort Drake Luftlinie vom Strand zum Ort ca. 2km entfernt liegt, muss man mit dem Auto gut 20min fahren wenn man Essen gehen möchte.
