Super location

Pros: The cabin was well laid out and equipped with everything you need. It was a short drive to the town. The bed was comfortable.

Cons: The soundproofing was not good but I think this is normal for Costa Rica. The room upstairs was too noisy for sleeping.

A beautiful wooden chalet

Pros: We stayed at Flaki for two nights in July 2025 and really enjoyed our time there. It is a beautiful wooden chalet which is set back against the cloud forest. It felt very secluded but also safe. The chalet was large with a bedroom downstairs and a mezzanine with two separate but connected sleeping areas upstairs for the kids to sleep in. Washing and drying facilities much appreciated. It has a lovely balcony at the back which you can sit out on and watch the birds and animals. Although we were out doing activities for most of the time we were there, we saw plenty - hummingbirds, a coati, an agouti and possibly a tayra (although it moved fast and could have been the neighbour’s cat).

Bad weather but very nice spot to stay.

Pros: Easy check-in, private secure parking, good location, CLEAN!

Cons: It was very cold and windy when we were there, not their fault but made upstairs quite loud and difficult to sleep. Some kind of heater would be nice

Cons: Nichts. Alles war gut.

Would recommend and hope to return again.

Pros: A lovely well equipped cabana, very clean, comfortable and nicely designed. Was private and secure. Only wish we stayed a few more days.

Cons: Not a single complaint.

Gorgeous cabin in monteverde

Pros: The cabin was gorgeous and very beautifully decorated. We loved the many details, example the flowers The cabin was very well equipped and we loved that we could have family dinners and then sit comfortably in the sitting area. One of the top places I have stayed in the past 2 years.
