Las Marias Monteverde - Mountain View Cottages & Gardens

Much more than we expected, super value for money, very spacious inside and out.

Pros: Great private location only 5 mins in car to middle of town. Lovely grounds.

Cons: Barking dogs at night so we needed to use earplugs, problem solved.

Pros: The property was a beautiful cottage that had a lot of space to enjoy the outside space. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching the birds in the morning!

Cons: Nothing. It was perfect! Truly was our favorite place we stayed during our trip to Costa Rica.

Pros: It was a very calm & peaceful area, you really feel at one with nature. Good sized rooms and facilities for cooking. Nice balcony area to sit and watch the sunset with a glass of wine. Great value for money.

Beautiful Room close to Monteverde.

Pros: Beautiful property with an abundance of birds. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Well stcked kitchen. The host was always available. The road to the hotel was a little rough, and it is a fair distance from town. We enjoyed our stay.

Pros: Very nice and spacey house with shared grill, very quiet with nice sunset and many birds around in the garden. Very safe and clean

Pros: This place is a bit out of the main busy area, which makes this place truly serene and peaceful. You can enjoy wildlife on your doorsteps. The hosts are very helpful and the facilities are great. Comfortable beds and nice hot water shower. Bbq is a bonus and well equipped. We would advise to have your own transport, preferably a SUV. Great place to stay and we would highly recommend it.

Cons: Beware of roads around Monteverde, but this has nothing to do with the property. Property is absolutely great.

Pros: It was a separate cabin with a full kitchen in a gated compound. Staff were very helpful and offered tours. It was good value.

Pros: Location was great only about a mile for the town-electric gate and keys left in door. The house was on a plot with 3 others and a great bar b que area. The patio was lvoely and the viewing area good. The whole place was well equippped with a mezzanine bedroom

Cons: The road to the property was really rough but ok once inside. It was only for a short stretch. There were some dogs barking well into the night and the wind was howling the whole time. Neither of these the hoat could do anythnig about

Nice and comfort place around beautiful garden.

Pros: Its a nice place to stay for some night during your visit Monteverde place with all facilities you need. Around our house there are some others on the same territory in a distance, want to notice it for other people. We stay for one night for my birthday, it was nice and cozy place with a nature voices around us. We were surrounded with a beautiful garden, saw amazing birds. Also as I am a yoga teacher, we booked this house because it has a little place for the practice-like shale) Its nice one with a metal construction. Thanks owner for helped me book zip- line on my birthday. Price the same, but you will be sure that will enjoy your adventure trip))

Cons: Although shower has a water heat, its not work well and you has like more cold water than hot... It was surprise for as a weather in the evening became cold..) Also in the kitchen no hot water for clean dishes. The price is higher than it would be worth.
