Maison tranquille

Inspiring to be in the house with full light in the nature.

Pros: Scale of the nature of the surrounding area and the beautifully designed house with all the light coming in through the glasses walls onto the balcony.

Pros: We booked 3 nights to be close to Cerro Chirripo and wish we could stay a bit longer. What a gem it is indeed - thanks to a fantastic panoramic window we were falling asleep watching glow worms every night. Daytime view is equally pleasing - breakfast on a terrace surrounded by nature with relaxing sound of birds and a nearby river. Highly recommend if you want somewhere amazing to stay when hiking Cerro Chirripo - we were descending looking forward to everything this place has to offer. Also, Talamanca Nature Reserve is right next door and Cloudbridge is only a short walk away. Last but not least, the owner is such a warm and attentive person. We hope to revisit one day.

Pros: Very nice French owner, showed me around the house and along the beautiful river. Particular house, very light and very privat.

Little gem on the hill

Pros: This place is a gem. At first glance it's a little red shed, but once you enter the landscape unfolds. Lurking on the hillside, the back of the lodge is a glass wall that allows you to overview the jungle and river from out of the bed. We loved how the owner reforested this former pasture into a little garden of eden. You can take a bath in the river and have breakfast on the balcony with birds all around. It's on walking distance from the Hummimgbird garden, Cloud Bridge reserve and other places.

Un paraje inolvidable

Pros: El entorno es espectacular. Montaña, bosque y cauces de agua en los alrededores, en un paraje tranquilo y atrayente, con el río Chirripó como telón de fondo desde el balcón de la cabaña. Además, Jean Christophe, nuestro anfitrión es súper amable, atento, servicial, de grata conversación, como persona educada y culta que es, y en todo momento dispuesto a darnos la información que necesitáramos.

Cons: Todo nos gustó. Sin duda trataremos de volver.

Une cabane dans la jungle

Pros: Magnifique maison ouverte sur la jungle à deux pas du village, la vue de la terrasse de jour comme de nuit avec la danse des lucioles est un enchantement. Le logement d'un grand design est très confortable, rien ne manque. L'accueil de notre hôte, le temps qu'il nous a consacré, sa prévenance et ses conseils ont fait de notre séjour un de nos meilleurs point de chute au Costa Rica. Le terrain avec l'accès à la rivière se suffit à lui-même pour profiter du site sans parler des réserves voisines comme cloud bridge et les sentiers du Chirripo

Cons: Rien, tout est parfait

Pros: Une studio qui sort de l'ordinaire, un design superbe, ouvrir les yeux face à une vue merveilleuse à partir du lit, un petit dej sur la terrasse qui surplombe la rivière et plus que tout: un hote accueillant, avenant et intéressant
