Fantastic find with amazing views

Pros: The house is stunning. Set in the hills above Samara it has views over the bay, framed by tropical plants and trees. The picture on Booking.com shows monkeys and we weren't disappointed. A whole troupe of howler monkeys could be seen, and definitely heard, in the trees surrounding the property. The house is a great size for 6. It has a spacious indoor living space, numerous outdoor seating areas and good size bedrooms. It is a beautiful home, and we felt very much at home while there, and even though we had a trip cancelled due to extreme rain, we didn't feel we missed out as we loved spending time at the house, enjoying the views and relaxing. We were encouraged to borrow the body boards for the beach, which made our beach visit much more fun.

Cons: Not a complaint, but just be aware that the hill to the house is quite long and steep. Fine in a car, but a hot walk from the town. As for the property, we couldn't fault it.

Relaxen in alle ruimte en met schitterend uitzicht

Pros: - De locatie en de villa zelf! Toplocatie in Samara op de heuvel met uitzicht, vanuit de schitterende tuin, op de oceaan en de baai. Vanuit villa ben je in 6 min bij Samara strand/uitgaanswijk en in 12 minuten naar nog mooiere playa Carillo. De villa zelf is mooi en zeer ruim. - Aanbeveling om hier weekje te blijven (bv surflessen en strand) en even op adem te komen als je een roadtrip maakt met vaak om 2-3 dagen een nieuwe lodge. Wasmachine en voldoende waslijnen ook handig als je al even onderweg bent. - In tuin en op veranda staan veel stoelen en hangmatten, dus heerlijk chillen met subliem uitzicht - Keuken en ruime eettafel binnen en buiten perfect! Na veel lodges en restaurants ook fijn om eens lekker op veranda in zonnetje te ontbijten. Maar ook voldoende keuze aan leuke beach restaurants in Samara!

Cons: - De villa ligt wat afgelegen waardoor je wel een auto nodig hebt van/naar strand en restaurants, maar daardoor wel lekker rustig en mooi uitzicht.

Beautiful location with ample space to get away and relax.

Pros: Gorgeous views of ISLA CHORA and the Pacific. On the edge of the forest and heard lots of birds and spotted wildlife. Very safe and comfortable.

Cons: A vehicle is mandatory. Due to road conditions we chose to use Samara Shuttle as our taxi service, highly recommend.

Excellent value for the price. The views and proximity to the town and beach are excellent.

Pros: The view was amazing. The layout of the home was wonderful for the environment. The pool and landscaping was inviting. Enjoying the view from the porch rockers was relaxing while listening to many birds. Plunge pool was refreshing on a hot day.

Cons: The cleanliness and organization of the kitchen was in need of an overhaul. Lighting the stove and oven with a lighter or match isn’t safe. Lighting in the kitchen/living area could use some updating.

Pros: Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is quietly tucked away about 5 minutes driving from Samara. Outstanding views of the Pacific with lots of wildlife visiting every day. We saw (and heard) howler monkeys daily, a gray fox, coatis, parrots, geckos, etc. My kids, 8 and 10, loved it! The house manager was very attentive to any questions or concerns. Thank you!
