Pros: This property had the positive vibe of a family run business, with a handful of cabins. Use of washing machine and driers, 15-20 min walk to strip of restaurants and entrance to national park. Can use the tickets all day and come in and out for food/drinks. Host Melina was very helpful. Nice pool with shade for the afternoons when it gets really hot. Resident Toucans and chickens

Pros: Small but comfortable cabin. Good outside area with table and chairs. Good pool and gardens with sunbeds. Good location away from main area of Uvita but within walking distance of Ballena NP /beach. Several restaurants within walking distance.

Pros: Clean, and had everything we needed. Really nice setting. Not too far from the beach (15 min walk)

Cons: TV wasn’t fully functioning, neither was the safe.

Magical

Pros: A fantastic accommodation and a perfect start to our trip in Costa Rica. Uvita Oasis Retreat is fresh, modern, and peaceful, with a well-equipped kitchen, a beautiful garden, and a lovely pool. The area is quiet and away from traffic, and the wildlife around the property is absolutely magical parrots, toucans, hummingbirds, and iguanas right outside. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, truly going the extra mile, even after check out. If you’re looking for a calm, cozy place with just the right amount of privacy, this is a perfect choice. Highly recommended!

Pros: Amazing staff. They were exceptionally helpful. The rooms were great. Kitchen equipment was excellent and the coffee was very good. The stay overall was very nice, comfortable, and relaxing. Lots of amazing birds on the property as well. Great for families with kids as well.

Cons: Our stay was excellent. Nothing to complain about. Beds were hard, which is not everyone's cup of tea, but I personally loved them.

Pros: We stayed in the upstairs apartment. Its was spacious and very clean. It was very well appointed, even more than my own house. Great views everywhere. The bed was very comfortable, i like hard beds. teh wate and showers were terrific, good pressure and huge, with a great view from the shower. Well located, easy walk to the park entrance, and a number of restaurants and a supermarket. We stayed 3 nights.

Cons: Internet a bit off, could have been the weather. Need a taxi to get to center of town, but we didn't need to go.

Pros: Fantastic Villa, with beautiful surroundings a 5-10 minute walk from the beach. (Which is where you want to be in Uvita)

Paradise

Pros: This was our last stop before going back home and it could not have been better. We stayed in the appartment and wow. The space, the amenities, the view… everything was perfect. The location was great, we did everything by foot. The pool was great in the afternoon when it gets too hot to be at the beach. And you have to wake up early to see the sun rising, it is breathtaking !
