Beautiful room in a small modern building, set in amazing gardens of a coffee plantation
Pros: Clean and modern room within a small building containing just 2 rooms upstairs and an apartment downstairs. Very quiet location set in the well maintained and beautiful gardens of a coffee plantation. Michael (the owner?) met us and showed us the facilites in the room and gave us suggestions for what to do in the area. We had great views of the gardens and lake from the balcony, from which we saw loads of birds every morning (Toucans, Woodpeckers, Hummingbirds, Oropendolas, and many more). The restaurant was just a 2 minute walk away, and served great breakfasts and meals. This was the final hotel on our 3 week tour around Costa Rica and I would rate it as the best of anywhere that we stayed.
Cons: I normally try to identify at least 1 fault with every property that we stay in, but for this place it is difficult to think of anything. Perhaps the fact that the large balcony does not have any division between the 2 upstairs apartments, so that it would be possible to walk across in front of the bedroom window of the other room. This wasn't a problem for us as the other apartment was empty during our stay.

Pros: Ein sehr schönes Häuschen am See, in dem wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Wir waren auf der Durchreise zur Karibik und haben uns dort auf halbem Wege niedergelassen. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt und ruhig auf dem Land.

Pros: A one-night stopover on the way to the capital is really not enough for this place. But even this time I will remember with a positive attitude. The room was in a house that is separate from the hotel, and that is its big plus. You have a place for the car. You can drink a cup of tea on the terrace and enjoy the silence and beauty of nature. The house is made in an old style, but inside it is modern. The bathroom is equipped with everything you need and there is hot water. A small fridge with bottles of water and juice, a kettle and a set for tea/coffee was just in time. However, you can walk to the main building of the Hotel y Restaurante La Casona del Cafetal in 5 minutes. And there you can order a delicious light breakfast or a classic local one and drip coffee. The restaurant is on the shore of the lake with singing birds, so having breakfast was both delicious and pleasant! I definitely recommend this charming place.

Pros: Die einzigartige Lage dieses eleganten Herrenhauses am Cachi See, zwischen Orosi und Irazú, inmitten der Kaffeeplantage, ist einfach einzigartig!

Pros: Uiterst propere kamer met een zalig bed. Terras met zicht op prachtige tuin en sprookjesachtig meer. Alle ramen zijn voorzien van horren. Douche voorzien van voldoende debiet en warm water.

Pros: Wir waren hier 2 Nächte auf der Durchreise zur Karibik und haben noch den Vulkan Irazu, Cartago und Valle de Orosi besichtigt. Der Besitzer wohnt im Erdgeschoss, war außergewöhnlich zuvorkommend und hat uns noch ein Care Paket für unseren Ausflug mitgegeben. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, modern und der Blick auf den See ist atemberaubend.
