Suite La Orquidea

Unique, pleasant, well maintained property with many amenities and helpful artist hosts.

Pros: Landscape with garden and pool was beautiful. Room was decorated with lovely details by the artists. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. It was nice to be farther from the bustle of Tamarindo and enjoy the pool each day. Rural restaurant close by served delicious reasonably priced meals.

Cons: The suites are close to a busy road so there’s traffic noise but earplugs helped at night. It’s a challenging 2km walk to the beach but doable.

Pros: The hosts were super friendly and lovely. The property was a gorgeous oasis in a well-secured yard. We had a vehicle which made it easier to get into Tamarindo plus visit other nearby beaches (parking was directly out front). We would highly recommend this property if in the Tamarindo area.

Cons: The road outside the property had a lot of traffic noise.

Pros: We were deeply pleased and amazed with Sergio and Mariela’s warm hospitality as well as the impecable taste of the room and common areas. All the details are carefully prepared to provide an incredible experience. This is a five star place where you can rest and have all of the Tamarindo experience very close. We are looking forward to be back again very soon!

A Tropical Paradise

Pros: It felt like an oasis on the edge of the hustle and bustle of the delightful town of Tamarindo. It was so relaxing and refreshing to come back to rest and relax at the Suite La Orquidea. Everything my wife and I needed to enjoy our visit was provided by our hosts, Mariela and Sergio. The pool was always clean, and the outside courtyard surrounding the pool was like a botanic garden. We felt secure, safe, and well looked after. Sergio made sure we knew where there were good restaurants and the best grocery stores. All around, this was one of the most relaxing places I've stayed in.

Cons: There was honestly nothing I didn't like about this lovely place.

Buen lugar para estar varios días y recorrer

Pros: Cama y ducha muy cómodas, la habitación tiene todo lo necesario. Un excelente espacio en la piscina, área de cocina muy completa. Wifi funcionó muy bien para trabajar y hacer zoom. Sergio y Mariela muy amables.
