Great jungle escape close to the beach

Pros: Lovely place: you wake up to the sounds of the birds and howler monkeys and Uvita beach is a short walk away. They have a nice bar and the restaurant serves great breakfast. Staff is really friendly and helpful. I could leave my luggage there after checkout time because I went on a day tour.

Cons: The toilet and shower facilities were quite basic and not always that clean. Bed was okay, but the fan in the room made the sound of an airboat and had the strength of it too, so it was quite a struggle when using the mosquito net.

Nice vibe close to the beach

Pros: Super nice vibe in this hostel, the staff was friendly and the place had a good vibe. We were there for the anniversary party! Really fun. The breakfast was also nice. We booked a double room with shared bathroom but the services were fine and close. Very close to the beach inside the Marino Ballena National Park. Would stay again.

Pros: What I liked the most about Fluttery Is that it Is nearby the beach. Also it Is on a big compound, which gives the rooms more privacy.

Good hostel vibes

Pros: It's authentic. You can get drinks and food. Staff is really nice. There is a place to do yoga. Close to the beach

Cons: Pretty far from the city/markets It could use more bathrooms. Water was cold in the showers

Pros: This hostel is in a very nice spot next to the beach and close to restaurants, coffe shops and markets. The people there are all friendly and kind. As a solo female traveler I felt super safe and comfortable in the hostel but also in the village. The nature is amazing and I had the opportunity to see a lot of animals in the nearby park like monkeys, birds ect. The facilities are like an organised camping very decent.

Pros: Great place to stay at! Friendly staff. Lockers, sockets next to your bed and moskito nets. The arrangement of the rooms is very cool. Lots of common areas. I can definitely recommend to stay there!

Cons: I just didn't like the dogs wandering around freely.

Perfect

Pros: This place is so much more than just a place to stay. It's a place where you can feel safe, relax, enjoy yourself, and connect with others. The Flutterby team is some of the kindest people I met during my trip to Costa Rica. They recommended local places to visit, the breakfasts were delicious, and the atmosphere was very positive and fun. The also allow pets. If you don't want to use the communal kitchen, they have a room with your own kitchen and bathroom. You get so much more than what you pay. Highly recommend!!
