Pros: What a lush place to stay! It feels like a treehouse right in the jungle. I absolutely recommend a stay there :)

Unbelievable, relaxing, adventure and lovely people
Pros: Wonderful place in the forest like a treehouse in the jungle, open kitchen for all to cook their own meals, Julie and all the staff were always friendly, helpful like staying at home. there’s a nice waterfall just a five minutes walk away. Perfect place if you want to explore Costa Rica with all their beautiful nature.

Amazing location
Pros: Definitely great for a hostel, very clean and amazing location! The chance to relax on the patio is great. The kitchen has everything you need. There are also very convenient services like breakfast, laundry, tour booking… There was also someone working there for security which made is feel very safe. Great value for money!
Cons: Some things in the kitchen didn’t properly work (like most of the burners / stove tops). Parking was a bit difficult when it got full. The showers right in the entrance area and only closed with a curtain felt a bit strange. As with every hostel, keep in mind that the experience will really depend on the people. The design of the Lodge is very open and we had one night in which everything was perfectly quiet and the other night people were very noisy and we had trouble sleeping.

Charming hostel with a great community vibe
Pros: A warm and welcoming ambience, with a well equipped shared kitchen, hammocks, cats and nature all around. Everything is thought of and well designed, with open walls and windows. We could have stayed much longer! The famous cascada verde (the Uvita waterfall) nearby is pretty small, but certainly refreshing on a hot day.

Pros: This is one of the most beautiful accommodations we‘ve every stayed at! The view, the bamboo rooms, the jungle feeling… everything is amazing! Do yourself a favour and stay here.
Cons: I‘d skip the breakfast, it’s quite expensive for what it is.

Pros: A great hostel tucked away in nature, right in the middle of the rainforest. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, yet the facilities are well maintained and comfortable. The hostel offers strong and reliable Wi-Fi, which is a big plus, especially in such a remote, natural setting. It’s also very affordable and provides free coffee and tea. Guests have access to a shared kitchen, available from 6:00 AM until 9:00 PM, which makes it easy to prepare your own meals. Overall, it’s an excellent place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet, budget-friendly spot surrounded by nature, without sacrificing comfort or connectivity.

A beautiful rustic hostel in a wonderful location. Perfect for relaxing.
Pros: We had a wonderful stay at this rustic and beautiful hostel. Julie is an exceptional host, nothing too much trouble and happy to help with anything. We loved the location, the scenery was wonderful and we saw quite a bit of wildlife.

Paradise on Earth
Pros: The place was excellent, we loved the open jungle vibe, the chill lighting and sunset watching terrace. The atmosphere gave so much peace, we didn’t want to leave. Truly amazing. And the cats!!! We loved it!

It is a place full of warmth and stunning views into the jungle and coffee all the day ;-)
Pros: Staff was amazing. Always there for help and advice regarding tours and things to do in the region. I really liked the small choice of food, just in case you don’t bought something for cooking. Also, there are a few restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: If you don’t have a car, you have to walk a bit to the center and the next supermarket. But the location is part of the great experience …it’s absolutely worth it.
