Very clean and comfortable stay in Uvita
Pros: We really enjoyed our time at this hostel in Uvita. The location is directly on the main road, which was perfect for us since we had rented a car. It’s easy to find and very convenient as a base for exploring the area. The hostel itself is very clean and nicely decorated, and we appreciated the attention to detail — even small touches like a pleasant scent in the room and an essential oil diffuser made the space feel welcoming. We stayed in a dorm that offered a large bed suitable for couples, which we really liked. The beds were comfortable, had their own power sockets, and offered a good level of privacy, making the stay very comfortable overall.
Cons: What we slightly missed was a more social atmosphere. Although there are several common areas, which is usually a positive aspect, they felt a bit too spacious for the number of guests staying there. As a result, it didn’t naturally encourage interaction as much as we had hoped, and it was easier for people to keep to themselves. Aside from that, we don’t have any real negative points and would gladly stay here again when visiting Uvita.

Amazing place with a unique positive atmosphere
Pros: Everything about this place is amazing! The really personal touch of the ladies looking after the place, the setup and look & feel of the shipwreck. It’s totally amazing. It’s not one of the cheapest places I stayed in, yet it deserves that rating and price. I picked it due to its location and I also walked all the way to the beach one day (it’s stunning)!

Pros: The owner, the staff, the area, the cleanliness, the vibe, the kitchen equipment, the service, the hostel itself, EVERYTHING :)

One of the cleanest, most well-maintained hostels I've stayed in. Very personal, too:)
Pros: The hostel is absolutely pristine & the staff is excellent. We particularly loved that the dorms/ bunks were essentially little cabins which gave you plenty of privacy & comfort sleeping. There is also ample space to store all your luggage & lockers have keys provided which is a big plus. The kitchen is well equipped & super clean.
Cons: The location is a little far from the beach. Didn't bother us much as we had a car but worth noting if you are travelling without a car. The hostel does rent out bikes though.

Wish we would have shipwrecked longer!
Pros: Friendly Dutch owner Sander was present at the hostel frequently and easy to reach via whatsapp when checking in and had great recommendations about the area. Hostel had everything we need (great beds, good wifi, filtered water and a good kitchen). High recommended for anyone stopping by Uvita.

Pros: The dorm capsules are very nice. Chillout deck and trees around are also very nice. Thr location is in the middle of everything.
Cons: The location is far away from everything. Kitchen is kinda small or at least tight shaped. Shower/toilet doors are annoying! A/C in the dorm but only cold shower ... ?!

Great hostel, comfy beds, good kitchen
Pros: The social areas were great and the pod style beds were spacious and comfortable. The volunteers were so friendly and helpful, especially Peri. The communal kitchen was well stocked and there was good atmosphere in the whole place. Location was a nice walk in between the bus station and the beach.
Cons: Very steep driveway leading up to the property which was a bit tricky in the rain with heavy backpacks but I didn't fall up or down it and I'm quite clumsy so it's definitely doable
