Pros: The grounds are lovely and there are often howler monkeys in the mango trees. The breakfast was very good.

Nice place to stay, close to beach but just far enough from town center.

Pros: Staff were wonderful. Hot breakfast made to order. Lovely pool area. Short walk to the beach. Far enough away from town center, so that we didn't deal with noise, crowds or traffic. But also close enough to be walking distance.

Cons: The room was small, but nice bathroom. TV not working, but good Wifi. Electrical outlet by bed was not functioning.

Great hotel at Playas del Coco with pool, caring staff, and beautiful garden

Pros: Great hotel at Playas del Coco. Beautiful pool, caring staff, great breakfast. Bottom line: great value! We ended up extending our stay.

Cons: pool area was a bit noisy with construction works one afternoon (too bad we had booked a poolside massage that day :)

Ideal for a beach weekend

Pros: A lovely small scale hotel at the end of the boulevard. The staff gave us a family-like feeling. Very nice breakfast, and a lovely pool.

Wonderful property with incredible staff

Pros: The staff was so lovely and accommodating. The property is quiet and close access to the beach. The fully stocked kitchen was a wonderful surprise allowing me to cook from groceries purchased rather than eating out everyday. Loved it!

Cons: Bed was a little uncomfortable, but not bad.

Pros: At our welcome Elizabeth said it was a little piece of paradise, how right she was! The gardens, the pool area, the view from our room were all fantastic. The location was perfect, quiet but only a 20 minute walk alongside the beach until you reached the lively little town of Coco. The staff were fabulous, friendly people and so helpful. A perfect week in a little piece of paradise.

Pros: The hotel is at the end of Coco - just behind the beach and away from the touristy part (which we didn't like too much). The staff were helpful and attentive. The howler monkeys noisy and busy right in the trees above our room (noisy though!).
