Lia Hotel Jaco - Adults Only

Amazing, design, location, and personnel!

Pros: The amazing service and friendliness of staff members such as Jackson and Fabiola.

Cons: The room is missing: a hairdryer (you have to request one), a mini-fridge, hooks for jackets, kleenex tissues, and only has one robe for two people. It also has very few cloth hangers, no water bottles included. Everything else was amazing, it's just that for the price paid, we would have expected those to be included. Furthermore, the ceiling sound insulation is pretty thin, so you hear noises from the room above.

Comfortable and safe hotel for solo female travller

Pros: Nice hotel which felt safe for solo female traveller. Good location for access to central Jaco. Comfortable room.

Excellent - stylish and comfortable.

Pros: Stylish hotel that is an oasis from the more commercial strip of restaurants and bars. Perfectly positioned for the evening sunsets which are spectacular. The bed was really comfortable. Housekeeping kept the room spotless. Lovely swimming pool that gets the sun all day. The breakfasts were really delicious. Team were always friendly.

Cons: I'd have liked a coffee machine or cafetiere with a kettle in the room - lots of the day trips are early starts (e.g. 6 / 6:30am) so couldn't get a coffee before heading off as restaurant and cafe didn't open til 7am. I'd also have liked a fridge in the room to put water in.

Good for short stay

Pros: Good location: near the beach, nice pool, welcoming staff, especially nice security guy name starts with F….. Breakfast decent. Drink list ok. Towel change every day. Close to the center with restaurants and shops.

Cons: The room was very small. No glasses, nor any cups. Hotel is situated on the public beach. Lots of trash nearby. It would be great that hotel cleans part of beach in the front of the hotel at least near the sitting area.

Excellent hotel, great location with some minor teething problems you'd expect from a newer hotel.

Pros: Great location, lovely airy room, poolside (also great). This is a new hotel, so there are some minor teething problems and some smll details need tending to - e.g - the rooms feel a little sparse, but I think they are adding to them all the time. However, overall this hotel was lovely. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially the personal concierge. I have every faith that within a few more months this will be the hottest spot in Jaco.

Pros: Beautifully designed small hotel with a lovely pool. Lots of interesting birds and animals around despite it being in the town. You can walk straight out and onto the beach or into Jaco high street for food. Going to miss this place.

Cons: Nothing with the hotel, it was perfect! Only small suggestion is to perhaps get some staff to spend a couple of hours to clear up any rubbish locals may have left around the trees out front. I know it's not the hotels land, but would make it even more perfect than it already is.
