Pros: See many Whales,birds, Iguanos and squirrels. Red snapper and breakfast are very delicious. Clean rooms and friendly stuff. Good location

Cons: 1-2 Gym machines were broken

Great beachside short stay

Pros: Great location on beach and easily accessible to town. The hotel let us check in early on arrival as the room was ready and use facilities after we were due to check out which was much appreciated. Lots of pool space and things to do. All the staff were very welcoming. Great breakfast- we had the Tipico which was delicious.

Use this gem while you still can: beautiful hotel rooms right on the beach.

Pros: Hotel has a perfect location, being right on the beach front and also in the town centre, making everything very accessible. Privacy within the hotel grounds, while being in the center. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pools were great. Both the rooms and grounds were kept very clean. The restaurant also offers a great selection of food and drinks, including a breakfast buffee, with a view of the ocean. Use this gem while you can as the hotel will be closed in July 2026.

Cons: The villas are outdated.

Nice but avoid the self catering suites

Pros: The grounds are lovely, breakfast was great and the iguanas were cool to look at. The swimming pools are nice but small, and everyone was very friendly. The hotel rooms near the sea were modern and clean (we moved during our stay)

Cons: Initially booked into self catering suite, which was very run down and situated right by the noisy road. The hot water stopped working one night (first time I've had to take a cold shower at a hotel). We asked to move to a hotel room, situated by the sea and it was a different experience. This isn't the best of areas, Jaco is a little sleezy and run down. No plans to revisit.

Pros: This hotel is in a perfect location, right on the beach, and just a few minutes' walk to nearby restaurants. There were iguanas in the grounds, which was really cool, and it was great to be able to eat breakfast or watch the sunset from the beach bar. The staff were also exceptionally helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious.

Cons: Nothing.

Great hotel

Pros: Great location, near to a huge choice of restaurants & shops, and access straight onto the beach. Quiet, well maintained gardens and pool areas with roaming iguanas and lots of birds. Clean & well equipped chalet accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons: Breakfast choice was a bit limited & repetitive. And the shower could be better.

Pros: Amazing location, spacious, delicious breakfast. Very close to various supermarkets, stores, restaurant, fast foods etc. You don't need a car since everything is close. We stayed at a Villa, so we could eat few times at the Villa, kitchen had everything you need. Highly recommended. Great for Families, playground, ping pong table, pool table and gym.

Cons: The beach is not very clean, lots of stones from the river but still you can enjoy it!

Pros: Absolutely fantastic experience! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a great attention to detail that made us feel right at home. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ensuring everything was perfect. The setting itself was charming and inviting, creating a lovely space to relax and enjoy. It’s such a shame we couldn’t stay longer – we would have loved more time to soak in the wonderful environment. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back in the future!

Great location and value for money

Cons: Everything was great

Pros: Fabulous hotel right on the beach and right in the action from a location perspective. From iguanas roaming around, to having a beer in the bar overlooking the beach to the lovely breakfasts its a great hotel. View from room was of seafront and staff were very friendly.

Cons: The $70 deposit for safe.
