Very nicely located in a forest ... with monkeys

Pros: Huge bungalow with kitchen. Very nicely located in a forest ... with monkeys (that have a tendency to steal food and other things, which is cute). Nice and helpful staff; nice breakfast. Swimming pool to relax. Away from the crowd at Carmen Beach, but at a close driving distance.

Cons: There were some difficulties with the bathroom plumbing. But maybe I was just unlucky it happened on the days I was there.

Practically perfect in every way!

Pros: Room was clean & cozy, breakfast was delicious, the pool was beautiful and lots of comfortable seating both sunny and shady, there was a well equipped yoga area which I enjoyed, and everyone was just very friendly and super helpful. I felt so at home that I sincerely didn’t want to leave 😄

Cons: The walk to the restaurants was a mile. Not a problem for me but I noticed some people were using taxis.

Pros: Amazing breakfast, amazing staff, wonderful grounds. Comfortable beds.

Cons: Can hear people in nearby rooms, kitchen supplies very limited and no oil, salt/pepper

Lovely relaxing pool area surrounded by tropical plants and buzzing humming birds and butterflies.

Pros: We had a lovely 2 bed bungalow in the grounds of this well presented tropical place. The grounds and restaurant were all very well designed and we certainly had a wonderful relaxing time around the pool.

Cons: Lovely place overall, although I thought the pool was a little small in relation to the rest of the place.

Nice relaxing resort but you play second fiddle to yoga courses

Pros: Was in a nice quiet location not far from the beach. Was a very relaxing environment, the massage I had was very good. Breakfast was tasty and filling.

Cons: Some of the advertised facilities were not available. I was told that there were no yoga classes as there was an instructor course taking place at the time. Also there was no on-site restaurant/bar as I was told this was closed, however the resort was clearly providing meals for the attendees of the yoga course so why couldn't they extend this for other paying guests? Perhaps they should devote as much attention to catering for the needs of their other guests as I had a smaller unit with no cooking facilities and there was only a smattering of eating places nearby/with 20 mins walk.

Incredible stay

Pros: Everything was great. We saw monkeys (like 20 of them). The breakfast was incredible. The swimming pool was great too and everything was clean. Best place we did in Costa Rica

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Breaktfast included and nice, we could bring our doggy, beach was close. The personal was nice and would definitely recommened the stay.

Cons: A little bit far from the center of Santa Teresa

Best place for yoga retreat

Pros: Everything. This property gets 5 star from me. Beautiful territory, beautiful yoga shala and pool, amazing uncrowded beach in 5 min walk. And what's more important (because I stayed in 2 more places at that location), it is located on the road, so Sim card will have connection and cars and taxis can reach easily even in heavy rain (It is important to consider while in Costa Rica). I think it is best option for yoga retreats and TTCs. Will do mine there next time! Also breakfast there was the most tasty than in other places. Lady there really cooked great.

Cons: There are many stray dogs in Costa Rica, on the way to the beach or to the room, they can bark or follow you, which for a person like me who is afraid, can become uncomfortable.

Beautifull surrounding and highclass rooms

Pros: Amazing surroundings and gorgeous rooms. The only thing we missed is some basic supplies in the room, like coffee, thee sugar. It is important to note that the rooms have their own kitchen with all supplies and a big fridge, but you need to bring grosseries. As we arrived late in the storm, we could not eat or dribk anything here. Upside, around the hotel there are great restaurants, walking distance, all open u till 9pm. Breakfast was perfect and the staff very nice and friendly. Rooms are decorated stylefull and very clean.

Cons: Some basic drinks possibilities

Pros: The staff is amazing, super nice and helpful:) beautiful location, quiet and peaceful, the breakfast is lovely, pool amazing and everything is comfortable and stylish.
