Bongo - Adults Only

Pros: This was a fabulous wee spot - the staff were just amazing, and they made our whole stay 100 times better!! Even with a slight language barrier, they were welcoming, caring and truly go above and beyond for their guests!! We were shown wildlife around the property, had a gorgeous breakfast and gifted chocolates on valentines day!!!

Pros: Everything was perfect. The staff were exceptional!! We saw a lot of wildlife at the hotel premises usually at breakfast - parrots, sloths, monkeys, iguanas and many more beautiful birds :) I highly recommend this place!

Cons: Located on a hill so walking up from the town could be a challenge. However, if you have a car or just need some exercise there’s no issue ;)

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay at Bongo Hotel – it was one of our favourite places in Costa Rica. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome, and the staff were consistently kind, attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are spacious, spotless and very comfortable, and the pool is a perfect size for a proper swim or simply cooling off after a day of sightseeing. The whole property is beautifully maintained, creating a calm, relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfasts were the best we had during our travels – fresh, delicious and the perfect start to each day. Having monkeys and macaws join you at breakfast only makes the experience even more unforgettable! It’s also wonderfully quiet location, which makes it feel even more special. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here.

Cons: A guest who decided we all needed to listen to his dreadful music whilst lying by the pool. RUDE!

Pros: Could see so much Wildlife from our room more than Manuel Antonio Park itself the owner and the staff for so accommodating would definitely recommend

I stayed longer!

Pros: Nice host and staff, good breafast and nice pool area. All the rooms had trees surrounding, so quiet with animals looking inn.

Pros: exceptional surrounding, nice and quiet, only a bit noisy parrots:) broke the silence each morning of our stay, but its a definite plus. we had a nice stay at the hotel, good breakfast ( fruits and the rest)

Fabulous

Pros: This is a great place to stay considering most of the staff are volunteering they are so friendly breakfasts were gorgeous . We watched squirrel monkeys form the pool Scarlet Macaws fantastic . The only fault we had with this property was that you had to carry your luggage down lots of steps to get to your accommodation

Pros: We liked everything there - accomodation, swimming pool, trees and animals in surrounding and at least the people there were very nice, helpful. We hope to come back soon.
