Wide Mouth Frog Quepos

Pros: Everything was great, but I can't in good conscience leave the usual 10/10 as the whole process is a bit more inconvenient than I'm used to. More inconvenient than anywhere else in CR I've been to.

Cons: You have to confirm your reservation via a WhatsApp chat a couple days before check in. And then they send you a link to some online tool you have to use to pay. It's not a big deal, but it's more steps than just the usual booking, showing up and handing someone the cash/tapping a credit card. I'm sure they have their reasons for having you jump through these extra hoops, but that's not my concern. I'd prefer not to deal with it. As a tall guy, this was also the only bed I had in CR that I didn't comfortably fit into. No big deal, I'm used to it, just a heads up.

Pros: Very nice hotel and garden area. Good breakfast, comfortable beds. Staff was helpful.

Cons: More of the staff could speak english. Booking of the room wasn't enough through the Booking.com but should be confirmed additionally by message which was stressful as we almost forgot it. Some guests didn't do it and lost their room. This system can be improved.

Good option if you stay in Quepos

Pros: We liked the pool and jacuzzi, breakfast was nice, the location was great and everyone working there was really kind

Cons: I booked the hotel with the cancellation option for extra fee, but I would not recommend paying for this option as the hotel kept messaging from the date of booking every couple of days to confirm that I will go and pay, otherwise they cancel the reservation. It is a bit contradictory

Pros: The locatikn, the free parking, the room and the comfort.

Cons: The breakfast is too tiny.

Pros: Convenient location. Recently rennovate to a modern hotel like atmosphere. Clean rooms and comfortable bed. Swimming pool and garden area create a pleasant relaxación area. Friendly staff.

Cons: This booking was not as easy as in the past where I just had to confirm 3 days before and then pay at check-in. This time I was asked to pay s week before hand and provided with payment options using links I didn't understand. Finally after texting I was sent a link that worked. From past stays it was convenient to have a fully equipped common kitchen and.although they continue to be advertise as such, it is no longer offered. There is a coffee perk, but that is it. A breakfeast menue is offered at a cost unless you had an all inclusive booking.

Pros: Friendly staff, small swimming pool and reasonable breakfast

Cons: Rooms are a little small and you can hear other guests in the rooms either side.

Cheap hostel vibes but didn’t feel that safe.

Pros: Very comfy beds. Tiny bathroom. Good value for money.

Cons: We felt a bit uncomfortable as twice people came into our room unannounced and it’s a rough area. The staff didn’t seem too interested when we complained

Super nice and clean place

Pros: This place is super clean, kitchen included. All in all the facilities were very nice. Location in the city, close to some places to eat. Parking is available, but only 4 spots, first come first served.

Cons: The floor around the pool had TONS of ants, so I couldn't sit there. But I still liked the place.
