Aves Resort Montezuma

Perfect place to relax, enjoy nature, and the pool is perfect!

Pros: It’s a beautiful property with a great restaurant, pool and lovey staff!

Cons: You need a car.

Best hotel in Costa Rica

Pros: Very warm and welcoming staff! Room and facilities are all well taken care of and we enjoyed every dish at the restaurant. (Too many good options to choose from). We extended our visit to stay longer than planned at this wonderful place. The massage (mixed techniques) was also very good!

Cons: At the end of our stay the staff asked for recommendations but honestly, there is nothing I can think of.

Pros: Amazing property. Extremely friendly staff who were happy to help us with any requests we had.

Pros: It’s gorgeous, the bed is so comfortable, the staff is super nice and we were overall very pleased with everything!

Exceptional property and delicious food!

Pros: The property is so beautiful I can’t describe it. Beautiful nature surrounds you. Trees, palms, flowers etc. It feels like you are truly staying at the jungle. At the restaurant they serve the most delicious meals and breakfast and I can highly recommend anyone staying in this area to choose for Aves Resort.

Pros: The staff were amazing, couldn't do enough to help. Ìf something not available, someone made it available. Didn't expect tips, but we're very humble when I gave tips. They were just soooo friendly. And massages even more amazing, I come from England frequently for massages and to stay at Aves. Also everything is safe, I often left my purse or phone on bar or dinning table, waiters always kept safe and found me to return to me.

Cons: Nothing. Oh the sea could be a bit closer, but there is local taxi service. I would walk but I'm a unhealthy 70 year old woman.

Best villa we had in Costa Rica, excellent

Pros: Great villa, spacious and luxury beds. Also a great deck to spend time on. The bathroom with outside sjouwers are beautiful. We had a great time and the staff is verry helpful. One of the extra benifitsbis the restaurant Ubin at the hotel. The food is excellent and verry tasty. The best hotel we had sofar in Costa Rica

Pros: Fabulous modern hotel within a beautiful setting. The quality of the food was fantastic. Lovely pools. The staff were great from our arrival onwards. Reception staff were very helpful and accommodating. The restaurant staff were excellent. We can't fault this place. We'll done and thank you to everyone involved!

Cons: The only thing I would mention is the mezzanine and ladder, we quite liked it and it was fine for us as we have two teenagers, but you wouldn't want to do it if you were not fit and/or elderly... just choose another room, as this place is fabulous.

Had a great time at Aves! Would definetly go again

Pros: The hotel was great value for the money. Staff friendly and attentive. We had an extra guest join on short notice and were able to accommodate for only a small surcharge. The breakfast is great and the rooms/pools nested in the trees feel really private.

Cons: It smelled of sewage every once in a while between our house and the pool. Probably a septic that needs to be emptied. We notified the staff but it wasn't a big deal
