Overnight stay next to lake Arenal en to La Fortuna

Pros: Large room with kitchen facing west across the lake for a perfect sunset. In the morning the balcony enabled us to spot many birds in the garden and on the lake. Idyllic. Restaurant on site that looked great. Two minutes walk down the track to get amazing view of the volcano. Very good value.

Highly recommend it for the view of Lake Arenal and the award winning chef’s restaurant experience

Pros: We loved the view from our unit. The restaurant is phenomenal beside it. The place is very spacious. There is a good enough kitchen with a full fridge. Appreciated that they provided the ground coffee.

Cons: The road leading to it is steep, dirt road. We were glad that we had an SUV. The toilet seat was missing the cover.
