Incredible views, serene and very welcoming

Pros: Everything about the property, staff and owners is excellent. An incredibly welcoming place. The breakfast and dinner compete with any high end restaurant. Being asked what we’d want for dinner the day before felt like luxury. The views from the room were incredible and there was so much wildlife to be spotted from the balcony. Special place, we plan to return in the future.

Pros: Immersed in silence and stillness, so relaxing. Plus the incredibile views and amazing breakfast.

Pros: Great hosts and magical views . Delicious breakfast and diner. Haute cuisine level.

The property feels like a serene retreat where you could read your favorite novel or write one!

Pros: Outstanding stay! I loved the contemporary architecture, the sleek, tasteful interior design and the breathtaking views. Also, the breakfast ranked as one of my best ever. It was such a treat to stay there and I will return the next time I visit Costa Rica.

Absolutely Stunning

Pros: Absolutely stunning. Not sure you could ever get board of the view. Every room has it own private views from the hillside downs and over the lake. Food is fantastic. A bar/pub within walking distance. We had a car with us so drove to the places we wanted to visit and never had to drive that far. Room at clean and comfy beds.

Cons: Nothing, we really loved it.

Pros: Enjoyed everything about our stay at Hotel Laguna Arenal. The rooms are modern and elegant, great showers and beds, and the most amazing private terrace with a breathtaking view on the Lake Arenal. Great photography opportunities for bird lovers! Anna is an excellent host, very caring and flexible, communicates very clearly (also in the Dutch language). She serves very tasty breakfast and dinner! We visited Volcano Arenal walking trails and hot springs from here, the location is perfect to drive to and from those points.

Our stay with Ana was the perfect start to our holiday, we couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Pros: We loved the location, so tranquil with beautiful views and nature all around us and just a short walk to the village. The cabaña was very comfortable and Ana a wonderful host. The breakfast and dinner was the best, we were sorry to leave.

Cons: There was nothing at all that we didn’t like.

Pros: A place of true peace and tranquility, with an incredible view over the lake. Waking up to the nature was a major highlight. Ana and her staff were wonderful, and the food they prepared for us was delicious. Highly recommend!

Comfortable and quiet cabins overviewing the lake, driving distance to touristic hot spots

Pros: Wonderful, clean and modern looking cabins with a beautiful view overlooking Arenal Lake. big and comfortable bed, large and well functioning shower and very good and optimal use of space in the cabin. We were greeted every morning by some birds on top of our cabin, and could see and hear all kinds of wildlife from the deck overlooking the lake. Special mention for the lovely cats running around the property and coming to greet us! The hotel staff provided special vegan options for breakfast every morning, which were absolutely lovely and tasty, and which was well above our expectations. Also a big thank you for allowing us to check in at a very late time at night and staying up late especially to accomodate us, very much appreciated! Driving distance from La Fortuna and many surrounding activities and touristic locations, the cabins are located outside of the touristic area in a beautiful and quiet place.

Cons: Parking space could be a bit small if all cabins are occupied, is just sufficient if everyone parks properly.
