Nice chill place to stay near the beach. Feels like home!

Pros: Great lounge area, very nice and helpful staff members, tasty breakfast and a good pool. The bed was also exceptionally comfortable.

Pros: The staff is very sweet and reactive. The place is lovely

Cons: Limited amount of hot water foe the shower, and several mosquitoes in the open bathroom.

Pros: Breakfast awesome! Welcome cocktail was perfect! Music and vibe around the pool was Ibiza-style! Nice!

Cons: The bed was noisy and not 100% comfortable

The Perfect Poolside Getaway (Just skip the omelet)

Pros: The Curiol Hotel is a real favorite! It’s located slightly off the beaten path, so it’s not caught up in the craziness of the main street, yet it’s less than a 10-minute walk to the beach. The decor is absolutely stunning! You can easily spend the whole day by the pool under the trees, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The room was very comfortable and had air conditioning. The pool is beautiful! The staff is kind and welcoming.

Cons: The food at the restaurant isn’t good. I had to send back an omelet because it was drenched in oil or butter. The sushi isn’t great either (too greasy, too much fried stuff!). Watch out for mangoes falling from the trees onto the rooftops — they make a crazy loud noise!

Pros: The hotel room establishment was beautiful ! The staff were really helpful and friendly regarding activities and any questions we had on the room.

Cons: The staff were slow and forgetful of our orders in the pool area. It happened a couple of times.

Pros: The breakfast was INCREDIBLE, the food they offer in the restaurant is really delicious. Nacho, Scarlett and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. Really cool pool with lights. The place is a 10/10 in general

Cons: The bath seemed like it was recently painted. So the paint washed out with the water.

A truly special and unique place!

Pros: We stayed at the villa for 4 nights and wish we had stayed longer. Simply amazing! It was private, clean, exclusive, tranquil, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Despite this property being in Costa Rica the villa had some Canadian touches which made me feel close to the west coast of Canada. Loved the Costa Rican bird murals too. Would highly recommend staying here. Especially for a week or more. Loved the dinner menu which included sushi which was absolutely delicious. It was also nice waking up to howler monkeys and spotting the odd Iguana wandering or lounging on the property. Overall, Curiol is a special place and it will always be close to my heart. I cannot wait to go back again.

Cons: My only complaint, although the breakfast was delicious, they could do with more variety.

Great choice

Pros: It was lovely. We had the 3 bedroom villa. The restaurant is very good - delicious food and good prices. The location is perfect to explore the nearby beaches. The service was excellent.

Beautiful space but tents not suited if you need privacy

Pros: beautiful space, garden is gorgeous and well taken care of. pool is clean, food is good but very pricy. we stayed in the tent, it's nice (spacious and clean) and original but not the best with a kid.

Cons: because the bar/restaurant is in the center of the space and the tent lacked sound proofing (i mean its a tent) we really went to sleep at 10pm when the bar closed.
