Cool Waters Jungle Villas

Peaceful location but car recommended.

Pros: The Jungle location was nice, staff helpful and accommodating, fantastic laying in hammocks listening to jungle sounds

Cons: Our kitchen area could have been a bit cleaner on arrival, dead insects around sink area, but bedrooms very clean and amazingly insect free (2 bed cabin in the more remote area) Accommodation is a long walk from town, (about 3 km along a very busy road. Car recommended)

Wonderful jungle retreat with beach access and proximity to town!

Pros: Great property - complete with a stream running through, access the jungle and the beach a short distance away. Amazing pool and very helpful team. David was great and super responsive and I would love to stay there again.

Cons: Quite busy on the weekends with lots of kids in the pool all day. Just something to expect as its a common area.

Pros: A great place to stay! The jungle villas are a perfect place to stay and relax. Beach is in walking distance and the salt water pool is open all day. Very kind owner David helps and supports you in every aspect of your stay! P.S.: Ask for the little scooter to explore the waterfalls and nice beaches up north of Uvita.

Pros: The owner David and the staff were amazing! They made us feel right at home, the food was delicious, and they truly care about the people at Cool Waters, so much so that they have a saltwater pool instead of chlorine. We came for our honey moon and my husband usually is not a nature person but the way the villas and cabin was in the jungle, he actually loved it as well! We saw cool wildlife and met amazing people all throughout our stay. We can't wait to come back!

Pros: The hotel is well located, near the road, but we don’t really hear it. It’s in the forest and it’s really nice to just take a walk around. Our arrival was easy and fast. David was really nice !

Pros: Excellent location on the edge of Uvita yet also on the edge of the jungle. Easy walk to beautiful National Park beach with no access control. David is a friendly and helpful host. Very cheap tents but comfortable with handbasin and platform and shade. Evening meals provided to avoid walk into town. Excellent swimming pool. Uvita National Park is a peaceful alternative to over - touristed Manuel Antonio and Cool Waters is an excellent base. Recommended.

Pros: Location is amazing for a quiet time in nature, staff is friendly, good bed, clean room and bathroom.

Cons: Commom area by reception and pool a bit messy. Bed sheets could be better.
