Cabinas D’Val

Gorgeous cabinas - in a great location for incredible beaches and fantastic restaurants.

Pros: Little oasis - these cabinas were in the most perfect location - we could walk to two beautiful National park beaches. It was gorgeous. The rooms were so comfortable and the outdoor rancho was perfect for cooking our evening meals - although so many good restaurants around if you don’t want to. Scott was extremely welcoming and they had sent so much brilliant information beforehand - thank you ! We wished we could have stayed longer !

Cons: Nothing- all perfect.

Pros: Most comfortable bed ive ever slept on! The cabins were so lovely, with everything you could need. Perfect location, close to restaurants and beach, whilst also being peaceful. Would absolutely stay again.

Pros: Everything was perfect ! We didn't want to leave this little paradise . To hear the birds every morning and many other things . You can feel that Scott the host loves his place. The room was full of little details. Very well functional. And very well decorated! Bahia Uvita is such a peaceful village and Cabinas D Val was the plus ! Very good vibe . Comfortable bed and clean . And very near by the beach ! Go ahead. You won't be disappointed. Thank you Scott !

Great location, short walk to the beach and amenities.

Fab place in a great location

Pros: Loved our cabin and the bed was huge. Scott is just so lovely and really helpful! It's a great spot, nice and secluded but close to amenities and easy walk to the beach.

A tropical oasis in the middle of Uvita….

Pros: This little oasis is absolutely beautiful and in a lovely part of Uvita. It is heaven from the second you come through the front gate. The cabinas are absolutely beautiful with the most gorgeous bathrooms very tastefully decorated. The bed was so comfy, I wish I could bring it home with me! There’s a fully stocked kitchen if you wish to cook (which we didn’t!!) Scott, the owner, was extremely helpful and friendly and around if we needed anything. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone . I loved it!!

Cons: Nothing about the property. However - word of warning. Compared with Puerto Veijo, Uvita is quite spread out, with shops, restaurants etc not along a main strip so I’d recommend either renting a car or bikes to explore and get around easily. We had a car and it was worth every penny.

Fantastic stay in Uvita

Pros: Scott was an exceptionally attentive host! It felt as if he was quietly working his magic in the background to make sure we had everything we needed to feel completely at home. The place itself gave us a wonderful taste of how delightful life in Costa Rica can be. We even had some “neighbors” stop by the garden—hummingbirds, colorful macaws, and a rather charming iguana who clearly thought he owned the place. A big heartfelt thank you to Scott for all his care and effort—he really made our stay unforgettable!

Cons: Next time we won't come in rain season ;)

A small slice of paradise

Pros: The location is very good, Scott is a lovely host with many recommendations so you can get everything out of your stay in Uvita. After a day of exploring, the cabina was a nice place to freshen up.

Perfect place to stay for a weekend and to enjoy the beach and surroundings

Pros: Scott is a very friendly owner, always available for questions and concerns, recommendations etc. Perfect Location, close to the beach, supermarket, restaurants, cafés Room is very comfy, with AC, kitchenette and everything you need

A great beach stay!

Pros: A lovely property. We enjoyed chatting with the hospitable owner, Scott, who gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and advice about the local area. We spent time hanging out in the pool and made some friends. The outdoor kitchen is very cool and has everything that you could need. The bedroom was clean and comfortable. It was so quiet at night that you could hear some of the local wildlife which was lovely. It is a short walk to the beach too.

Cons: We loved everything and didn’t want to leave!
