S Natura Birding and Photography

Pros: The hospitality was great and the rooms are charming. Great food.

Cons: The understory of the forest was a bit too opened up. A little more natural habitat would be good. But overall its a great location.

Wonderful Place

Pros: Freddie and Beryl were very gracious hosts, and we ate some of the best food on our trip in Costa Rica Got to see some unique birds , even though we were not photographer’s, the hummingbirds feeders were wonderful where we spent a lot of time enjoying the flash of colours from these amazing little birds. It is a beautiful place they have here built here with love and passion for Nature and protecting it All the staff were lovely and made our stay extra special. It did get cold in the evenings as being so high up, but everything provided for in the rooms to make it all cosy and a very pleasant stay. Thank you

If you want to photograph and see birds this is a magical place

Pros: An absolutely beautiful place with opportunities to see and photograph birds. Our hosts were extremely knowledgeable and the meals were delicious.

Cons: You need to have very warm clothes at night as it’s cold. If you suffer from altitude sickness then this would not work for you.

Pros: Great food, nice staff, excellent setup for bird photography. Heaters in the rooms.

Tolle Lodge in herrlicher Natur

Pros: Tolle Lage in den Bergen, gute Möglichkeit zur Vogelbeobachtung. Schönes Zimmer mit Heizmöglichkeit, das ist in der Höhe von knapp 3000m auch nötig, war aber auch völlig ausreichend. Das gesamte Personal ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das angebotene Abendessen und das Frühstück waren ausgezeichnet, das hätte in keinem Restaurant besser sein können. Im Obergeschoss steht ein Kühlschrank mit Getränken, Bezahlung erfolgt auf Vertrauensbasis. Wir haben eine perfekte Wahl getroffen und kommen gerne wieder

Cons: Eine Nacht war definitiv zu kurz

Pros: The staff is amazing, area and trails great for birding. Breakfast was very very good. Enjoyed being close to the natural environment

Pros: Cuisinière excellente. Bien cuisiné et servi avec le sourire.

Pros: Geweldige plek voor vogelliefhebbers. Veel informatie gehad en rondgeleid op het terrein. Echt super mooi. Het eten is geweldig en de kamer was erg mooi met een fenomenaal uitzicht.

Cons: Het is er vanaf einde middag tot de ochtend erg erg koud. Kamers hebben verwarming maar die maken de kamers niet warm maar wel iets minder koud. Warme winterkleren zijn een absolute must voor een bezoekje aan deze plek.

Pros: Un lugar espectacular para hacer una parada y poder disfrutar del maravilloso jardín que dispone. Con numerosas especies de colibrís y otras aves que se muestran muy confiadas. Buenos spots para los amantes de la fotografía. La habitación muy cómoda, limpia y calentita, algo de apreciar al situarse a tanta altitud. El desayuno riquísimo, y los anfitriones de 10. Totalmente recomendado.

Pros: Posto molto bello, particolarmente indicato per fotografi naturalisti, visto che il proprietario è un esperto operante nel settore. Tende confortevoli e curate, anche se non grandi.
