Tree Houses Hotel Costa Rica

Pros: Staff was incredibly nice and helpful, they bring coffee every morning to your tree house (in addition to the delicious breakfast). They also organise free night walks around the tree houses. The room has everything you need and it is just magical to wake up surrounded by nature.

Cons: The road is quite close to some of the houses so the traffic can ruin a bit the experience in the forest

Pros: The staff were very helpful - especially helping to get takeaways

Cons: One of the rooms was very small

Pros: Great hotel, our cabin didn’t have WiFi and there was some sound from the road. Very nice staff, helpful and interested. We had a terrific day included night walk

Cons: No WiFi in room and some noise from the road.

Such a wonderful stay, will be recommending to friends x

Pros: We LOVED our stay at the tree houses. It felt like a true experience being emerged in the rainforest. We stayed in the wood pecker room and it was AMAZING. We saw Tucans and lots of other wildlife and colourful birds from our treehouse. There was also a sloth by the breakfast area. Breakfast was the best we had in Costa Rica and all freshly made. The owners were wonderful. So friendly and caring. They even jump started our car when we accidentally left the lights on. They couldn’t have made us feel more welcome. DO THE NIGHT TOUR. Its incredible. We saw tree frogs, snakes, scorpions, spiders and more!

Cons: Our first night we spent in Tucan tree house which has a ladder up to children’s beds. we have 4 year old twins and we felt the ladder and height wasn’t safe. The owners moved us to a different tree house without a problem. They were lovely. This room would be great for older children

Pros: Everything. The hosts were amazing. There’s so much to do there. Beautiful trails, included delicious breakfast. So much wildlife! We got woken up with coffee every morning on our deck and howler monkeys! They put plantain on a feeder to draw in the beautiful birds there too. We also did the free guided night tour, we saw all the frogs, scorpions, bullet ants, an iguana and they guides were extremely knowledgeable and taught us a lot. I would 10/10 go back.

Pros: Es ist wunderschön und sauber. Die Nachtwanderung, die dort angeboten wird, war richtig gut. Hat sich echt gelohnt.

Worth a visit

Pros: Beautiful area. Friendly staff. Free night walk which was wonderful and we had knowledgeable guides. Treehouse was beautiful.

Loved it and would return again.

Pros: Loved the breakfast and the location was fantastic.

Cons: The bathroom had some issues with flying ants, but nothing terrible.

Secluded setting with animals galore

Pros: Amazing experience for the entire family. Do NOT miss out on the night hike/tour (free, but I would tip - our guide was amazing). It was amazing how many animals we were able to see within a short walk: mama and baby sloth, armadillos, beautiful (& poisinous) tree frogs, tarantula, scorpions, and others. We hiked to the river the next morning. Beautiful walk and a memorable swim in the river at the end of the trail. Breakfast was amazing - food was fantastic and it was served in a secluded eating area in the midst of the jungle.

Gøy sted i skogen, en oase nærme La Fortuna

Pros: Frokosten var veldig bra og det var fantastisk å kunne spise frokost og se på fuglelivet nært på. Leveranse av kaffe til hytta tidlig på morgenen og se på fugler var en pluss. Det var også veldig behjelpelig ansatte og natt-turen var helt topp for hele familien. Vi kunne også bestille og få levert mat fra restauranter. Det var veldig praktisk!

Cons: Hytta vår (sloth) var nokså nærme veien og lydene fra veien ødela litt for opplevelsen (mest på dagtid).
