The Fruit Tree Garden Bromeliad Suite

Pros: Everything was great! Ian is a great guy and i would love to come back! If you want to stay around arenal volcano. This is the place!! The only thing i regret is that i did not stay longer here.

Recommended.

Pros: Ian was really great host, so passionate and customer oriented. We had a pleasant chat with him. It is truth the apartment doesn’t have AC but as it is in rain forest area and next to lake where is windy, we don’t really miss it. The garden is stunning!

Cons: It is a bit far from city center but you know it when you book the accommodation.

Great stay

Pros: Beautiful location on lake Arenal. The suite is in a real fruit garden with different sorts of trees, there are also animals in the garden! You can walk down and swim in the lake [not an easy climb back] One can see Tucans in the trees! The host is fantastic and has a vast knowledge about the nature in the area.

Cons: I should have stayed longer!

beyond expectations

Pros: Ian is the best host we could imagine possible. His generosity and passion about his regenerated land into a fruit garden was truly inspiring. While we were looking out over Lake Arenal, we enjoyed the delicious scents of flowers, fruits while toucans were flying by. I would definitely recommend his place to anyone who is looking for a sanctuary in the busy La Fortuna area!

Beautiful, Don’t Miss Experience

Pros: The space was immaculate and had every amenity that you could need. The host, Ian, was so friendly and immediately made you feel comfortable and informed of where everything was located. He gave us a tour of his garden/land and it was a highlight of our visit. I cannot express how wonderful the experience there was and how beautiful the entire space is. I would come back in a heartbeat.

Pros: Ian was one of the nicest hosts we have ever experienced, and we have traveled the world . Highly recommend. Thanks again Ian.!! And we will see you again.

Pros: The location is absolutely breathtaking! The host, Ian, gave us a tour of the garden and taught us all about the plants and environmental considerations. The room itself was perfect, the bed was comfy, the shower was clean and hot. You could honestly spend an entire vacation just exploring this location, but we also were able to explore Monteverde, Arenal Volcano, and La Fortuna all within a reasonable drive.
