A lovely hideout in Uvita

Pros: A clean, spacious, nicely decorated and relaxing environment. We had lots of fun cooking in the outside kitchen, sitting in the hammock and hanging out with Carlos the cat 🐱. Our host Claudio was also easy to contact, friendly and accomodating.

Cons: Extra pillows for the bed would have been great, though a minor point!

Accessible, private, pleasantly different and charming.

Pros: Breakfast not applicable. Realy appreciated the surroundings and attention to detail of the design of the building plus extra items, beautiful soaps etc. Host charming and courteous.

Cons: Situation of microwave in kitchen area.

Pros: Very nice place to stay. Close to Uvita and the actions in the Nat Park. Excellent quick communication with the host (Claudio) at the time when we had trouble with the electric gate.

Memorable!

Pros: I stayed at Chico Rico in November of 2023. I loved it! It's not on the beach side of Uvita so if you prefer walking distance to the beach, this wouldn't be the place. But I knew that, and it was gorgeous, nonetheless. The property is surrounded by lush rainforest. I could hear howler monkeys and even saw iguanas jumping from tree to tree. Yes, they jump! I had no idea. The studio is exactly how it is in the photos. It was clean, comfortable, and excellent Wifi too. Which is important to me because I am a remote worker. The location is close to several restaurants that you could walk to. One being a vegan restaurant owned by the host, Claudio. It's called Indomitos and is excellent!! Claudio is an exceptional host who is kind and helpful and responsive to any inquires that I had. There is ample space to park if you rent a car. I enjoyed my stay here and I recommend it 100%.

Cons: Claudio only accepts cash payment. Had I known, I would have brought the entire amount in full prior to arriving. I had to go to the bank every day to withdraw money. I was only able to withdraw $200 USD max per day. The foreign banks fees add up quickly. This is partly my fault because I assumed that card payment or PayPal would be an option. I should have asked about payment earlier.

Pros: Spacious, modern and cozy, quiet place surrounded by nature and Claudio was a perfect host Kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay

Amazing little studios in nature

Pros: The studios are perfect with all amenities you need to feel comfortable. Private pool is lovely. Claudio is an amazing host super attentive and responsive. You can get food delivered from his excellent vegetarian restaurant straight on your terrace. Watching the hummingbirds flying around was definitely a bonus.

Cons: Nothing. It was absolutely perfect for what I needed.

Pros: Der Gastgeber war sehr nett, das Studio ist zwar leicht aber schön gehalten. Pool und Hängesessel sehr schön.

Cons: Eigentlich alles, Outdoorküche nicht unbedingt praktisch-lockt Tierchen an. Keine Sonne am Pool.

Super logement

Pros: Super studio, la piscine est top est très appréciable après une journée de soleil. La logement était propre et nous avons reçu de bonne recommandations pour les restaurants et activité. Singe, agouti et oiseau sont présent autour du logement. Si vous n'avez pas de voiture, et que vous décidez d'aller à pied au restaurant, attention à la grande montée au retour

Muy buen lugar!

Pros: Es un lugar precioso realmente y con todo lo necesario

Cons: El tema de la privacidad a pesar de ser un studio que por su ubicación dentro del terreno da privacidad de los otros studios al rededor, la división con el lote de la par “los vecinos” no da privacidad, durante toda nuestra estancia había gente trabajando, hablando alto y con completa visibilidad al studio
