La Terraza Guest House B&B

I would definitely recommend staying here to friends & family.

Pros: The location was very nice, close to the event we were attending. Breakfasts were very good, each morning we received something different. Staff excellent as well. The property was beautiful, and the grounds well kept. The banana muffins we received upon arrival was a lovely touch, along with the flavored water & tea in the fridge. Very nice!

Cons: I was a bit surprised that there was no coffee in the room. Quite a bit of road noise, and lot's of dogs barking, however this is something we have experienced before, and we managed it. Not a deal breaker by any means.

Perfect stop over en route from San Jose to La Fortuna.

Pros: Loved the spacious room with a big balcony overlooking the beautiful gardens. Hearty breakfast.

Cons: Shower room was a bit tired.

Beautiful accommodation, but parking is stressful

Pros: Beautiful accommodation and giant comfy bed. Great breakfast!

Cons: The parking situation is a bit of a nightmare. You can park on the street if you want, but the street is somewhat busy during the day and not very wide. There were four cars squeezed in the B&B designated parking area behind a locked gate. It is a pain in the ass to get out of the driveway and we had to wait for a guest to leave before we were able to get out of the driveway in the morning. God forbid we were in a hurry. Luckily we were both going to the same location around a similar time. Despite the accommodation otherwise being extremely nice and high quality, the situation with the parking was not sufficiently described on the main page or in the correspondence from the B&B post-booking. This was a major negative for the experience of our one-night stay. If you’re not in a hurry, not to worry, but if you are…be prepared.

ideal starting point for trips round Poas area

Pros: we had a nice habitation with a large and comfortable bed and a nice kitchen . The location is an ideal starting point for all destinations round the Poas Area. There is a nice garden with sitting areas. The whole area is very quiet. The breakfast was very nice and varied compared to the standard. The staff was very accommodating and friendly we definitely would come back

Pros: Funky little place in Grecia, friendly and accommodating staff. Generous sized breakfast.

Cons: It’s a little bit of out of town , so without a, one night here is probably plenty. However, you could just stay put and enjoy the stunning garden.

Pros: Unfortunately we only stayed one night, on our way to the airport. The best accommodation in the area, near the airport. Clean and quiet, with very friendly staff, beautiful garden and delicious breakfast

Very pleasant arrival in Costa Rica after a long flight, we received a very friendly welcome and immediately felt at hom

Pros: The apartment was very spacious, well furnished and clean. The garden is super nice and we were able to park the car in the courtyard, which made it very comfortable.

We had one of our best vacation in recent times.

Pros: Breakfast was amazing and we slept like babies.. The beds were comfy and the river flowing made it magical. we woke up to sounds of chickens.. Charles the owner is so personable.. We had a great 4 days spent there.

Cons: Bathroom could get a little renovation. And I would definitely like to say add shampoo in the toiletries pls.

Pros: Lovely stay with lovely people in a quiet area close to the airport
