Exceeded all our expectations! We will be back!

Pros: This place was a real home away from Home. The owner is very friendly and organised two incredible tours in the area. The cacao farm is very beautiful and the area is full of incredible wildlife. It is wonderfully quiet apart from birdsong and money howls. We also had an amazing cacao workshop at the farm which the entire family loved. We will be back for sure!

Cons: Poor breakfast, no fruits, coffee with milk only instant

Pros: Neat little cabin. Toucans in the garden. Short walk to best tubing company (Onca). Breakfast was made ready early for us so that we could leave for our hike. Note unpaved roads leading in.

Lovely!

Pros: The lady was super friendly and helpful with recommendations. The cabin was spacious and we had two big beds. The breakfast was tasty and so was the coffee! The reception space looked nice with the hammocks

Cons: All the doors were a bit rough to open and close. As a neurodivergent the road to get here was a bit too rocky, but nothing the property can do about. Just a heads up for other future guests. :)

Exceptional

Pros: It’s a pure paradise in the middle of the beautiful jungle of Rio céleste. Surrounded by Cacao plantation, with many perroquets 🦜. Sometimes, the place you stay will change the place you visite in the good way and that’s what it did. Very nice and quiet place to stay

Pros: The cabin in the middle of the cacao plantation with many birds around, and the very nice host

Cons: The road to get there is a little rough

Pros: Clean and comfortable place to rest as well as a nice base point for you driving around and visiting the national parc Tenorio. The host, Yorlene, will arrange for you anything you need: from night tour with local guides Luis and Arturro to cacao tour through even food delivery! Don't hesitate to ask her to teach you how to cook local food, prepare the coffee like a Costarican or dance ;) We stayed two nights and enjoyed the little house very much, each house gives a sense of privacy as they are slightly hidden among the cacao trees.

Good location and breakfast is good.

Pros: The place was lovely and with the Cacao plantation, but you need a car away from everything. Yelanda took us to the national park and we paid her the taxi fare.

Cons: Need water in the room to start of and a hair dryer or one you can borrow, also the toilet bin needs to be emptied everyday.

Pura Vida

Pros: Magnificent place in a cocoa plantation, with impeccable wooden cabanas and a great attention to every detail. You can eat and go for night excursions to admire amphibians and reptiles. You can park inside the property that is located 15 minutes from the Volcano Tenorio Park.

Cons: We can not find bad things.

Dream stay in the nature

Pros: Brand new spacious houses, very friendly helpful owner- it’s a exceptional place, we loved that. Highly recommend!
