Exceeded expectations

Pros: Family owned business with a nice view from his terrace. Super welcoming. Breakfast was excellent

Good place to stay when traviling

Pros: The breafast was good with a good veriaty each day.the room was clean. Securety was good and the owners quiet friendly. Birds were nice to watch in the morning

Cons: Road noise a little loud.

Lovely, cosy property well located with friendly service.

Pros: Beautiful gardens and lovely lake views, near to nice restaurants

Cons: Traffic noise late at night. Only once or twice a night, but woke me as so peaceful the rest of the time!

A decent stay for a decent price.

Pros: Breakfast was great. Marita and Alberto were extremely welcoming. Beautiful garden on the property. Room was nothing special but it was clean.

Cons: The street was extremely noisy. Dirt bikes going by a lot. No AC meant we had to leave windows open and made it even noisier. Only accept cash which was inconvenient for me. No mention of a cash only property while booking.

Pros: Beautiful garden (we saw a tucán there ;)), delicious breakfast, super friendly people and great location ;)

Great place with kind hosts, amazing breakfast and beautiful garden

Pros: Very nice place to stay with incredibly kind hosts. In the morning we enjoyed a great homemade breakfast with beautiful garden views! We were able to watch a lot of different colourful birds. We had fresh juice, coffee, fruit and a great burrito. We only stayed for one night but wouldn't have minded to stay longer. The place is located on the main street, bars and jobs are in walking distance and you can enjoy a great view over the lake while walking around.

Pros: Very good breakfast in a great garden, where we saw so many birds you can just dream about in any local national park. :) In nearby restaurant (a bit uphill) with a great view to the village valley, we saw many many hummingburds on its terrace.

Perfect stopover leaving a warm memory of caring hosts

Pros: Superb breakfast. Friendliness and flexibility of hosts, who were non-intrusive but very accessible if needed. Comfortable bed. Variety of birds to be seen in garden. Host's recommendations for eating (Moya's pizza very good). Off street parking.

Cons: Some traffic noise but it was not overly disruptive in our room. Ready access to a fridge would have been useful but I am sure if we had asked the hosts they would have offered use of their fridge.

Lovely B&B with lovely hosts.

Pros: Marita and Roberto are the most caring hosts you'll ever meet. The breakfast with view to their lovely garden is great. The room was spacious, comfortable, very clean and with air conditioning.

Cons: Nuevo Arenal is nice but as a location some kilometers away from the attractions of La Fortuna. As one knows this before it is not really a negative point. The German bakery is right next door, so if you don't like the smell of freshly baked bread, this might be a negative point (;-)).

Pros: We stayed there with our friends and we all love everything, the owners was very nice and friendly, garden view was amazing, breakfast was very special. Honestly it felt like home
