Excellent stay in stunning surroundings

Pros: We stayed in the apartment, super clean and comfortable, lovely balcony. The exceptional memory is the restaurant area. The staff put out bananas and the most amazing collection of birds, differt species of Toucan included and squirrels come to eat. In the forest behind we saw squirrel monkeys and morpho butterflies and multicoloured birds of prey. The staff are exceptionally nice and the food served is great. Highly recommend

Cons: Nothing. A stand out memory from our trip.

Gorgeous views!

Pros: It is an amazing place to stay. We woke up to one the most beautiful views we’ve ever seen. Visited during the dry season which made it possible to drive up the last part of the road (unpaved) with our small non4x4 car.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The breakfast was amazing and the feeders and staff are great and really helpful

Magical place with incredible amount of birds

Pros: Fantastic stay. Placed in beautiful calm area. We have seen tucans and a lot of other birds. It was no sense to visit Manuel Antonio Park, where we met only hundreds of people and no animals. This place is far, far better and it is not a joke. Very tasty breakfast and dinner, very helpful personel. Very clean cabins with amazing views, very clean bathrooms and toilets. I would like to rate this place much over 10

Thought it was awesome just wish the price was lower considering lack of amenities.

Pros: The location and overall vibe of the hotel was very cool. It's in the rainforest and they prioritize bird watching. This is truly a unique place to stay.

Cons: Given that the rooms are essentially a tent, the bathroom is not in your room and you will have to walk to the bathroom facilities. Furthermore, there is no potential for cooking or cleaning anything in your tent.

Pros: Great place with a great view. The huts are very cozy and comfy.

Pros: A great, peaceful retreat for oneself but with an added bonus of plenty of birds (toucans, hummingbirds, euphonias, etc.). If you are a bird enthusiast, I shall highly recommend. Great view of the mountains and sunrise. Staff were particularly helpful with knowledge of birds but also accomodating to our requests and treated the accomodation as their home (unlike hotel chains).

Cons: would be nice that the bar would have been open till later (for us was out off the season so we were the only guests). In the small cottages would be nice to have insect net at the entrance to enjoy the view/sleep in the night breeze. We couldnt find an internet connection, but we actually appreciated it.

Pros: Good food, great cabins, lovely way to get back to nature with some added luxury like a good bed and shower

I loved being a part of nature, that I could just sit and watch the birds come to us.

Pros: It was a most interesting place to visit and stay. The scenery, nature, birds, flowers--it was all a WOW experience. I loved it and so relaxing. Also, meeting the other people who stayed there was fun and we learned about the waterfalls and hikes nearby. The breakfast and dining hall was a great meeting place. We chose to come back each night and ate there as well as breakfast. The food was fresh and really good. The manager, Giselle, was so helpful and welcoming. Anyone who loves birds should plan a visit here and to hike the property. The nearby waterfalls are lovely and refreshing. We especially liked that it wasn't over crowded and a privately owned estate. We didn't see the owner's coffee farm, but bought some to take home. We got to enjoy the local coffee for breakfast.

Cons: Not sure I have any complaints. I enjoyed our stay and would go back.

Pros: Without words. Birds paradise, absolutly quiet, nice Tipis, we enjoyed every second!! We will come Back. Thank you!
