Pros: Everything from the house itself, tech(alexa was a nice touch), gas bbq, cpmmunication and.staff was excellent. Our gas bbq ran out.of.gas and we.communicated this through whatsapp and the problem was resolved. Wonderful high ceiling, ac... i could go on.. 10min from all attractions like the waterfall and various hot springs.

Cons: Volcano view was obstructed by clouds.

A really enjoyable time spent in the villa.

Pros: Very clean and secure property. Good communication from host. Really comfy beds. Complimentary coffee and sparkling wine a nice touch. Great bird watching from the villa.

Cons: A good 30 minute walk into town and restaurants but can get an uber for a few dollars or 5 minute drive in hire car.

We really enjoyed our 5 nights in La Fortuna. And would recommend to any family, small groups

Pros: The staff was very helpful. Maria, the housekeeper was very helpful. We received replies from Yasmin very quickly with any questions. Beds were very comfortable. Lots of linen.

Cons: Too many air fresheners due to allergies, but easily rectified.

Great stay just a quick drive from the action

Pros: The location was a quick drive to Town with beautiful views of the volcano from our balcony. The pool was smaller but deep, and great for cooling off. The kitchen was well equipped and made preparing simple meals a breeze. I loved having a grill available, and we used it!

Pros: Brand new building, looks like it came out of a design magazine. We spent one night in one of the other buildings of the lot and we loved it so much that we decided to stay one more night there and booked Casa Esmeralda with friends. The grill work both with charcoal and gas and the water of the pool was refreshing at the end of the day. The owner, Jasmin was super kind and helpful. This place is big enough for a family or a group of friends of 4 to 6. Definitely recommended
