Great experience

Pros: The location Is great and in the middle of green garden, we liked It a lot. Very cozy

Cons: We were in 6. The house is perfect for 4 People and not 6 people, there were not enough chairs and the sofa Is not comfortable

Super cozy cabin that you can call home

Pros: Super cozy cabin that we loved. It was our favorite during our Costa Rican road trip. It makes you feel at home and relax. It is equipped with everything you need to live there as much as you'd like. It's in a very quiet area which was at the same time remote and close to La Fortuna center by car. It was clean and had a porch and its own parking area. The host was very friendly and welcoming. And the price is also very affordable.

Cons: We loved everything. Maybe just better instructions for the laundry machine as it's much different than the normal ones :D

A peaceful few days to start our Costa Rica trip

Pros: Very tranquil, quiet and safe location. We woke to the lovely sound of birdsong each morning. A 5 minute drive into the centre of La Fortuna. The cabin provided us with everything we needed and our host provided very good and responsive communication through messages

Pros: Our stay at Cabana Itze was amazing. Marianela and her partner were exceptional hosts and were so friendly. The area was great, nice and quiet but with a short drive to the main town. The cabana was spotless and had everything we needed.

Great option for a bit of privacy and living space

Pros: Nice sized cabin for 2 (+child) a 5min drive out of La Fortuna. Easy access, last meters careful if you have a standard car.

Cons: To consider (not a negative): 2nd bedroom w/o A/C, if used for 2 and more. Bed size is 140cm-ish Surrounding the cabin are new constructions, and it looks it will continue, so the idyllic location is becoming a thing of the past… still, you have the privacy of a cabin

Pros: I was placed in a really nice location. It was super clean and has all the amenities. We had a great communication with the host.

Pros: This was a real cabin experience, the whole place was very cozy and the owners helpfully came by when the electricity in the whole town of La Fortuna went down even though the outage took only 5 minutes.

Cons: There is AC in one room only so it was a bit hard to get the fresh air into the whole cabin but otherwise perfect

Pros: Maria’s attention to details was exceptional! Rooms were super clean and very nicely decorated, even the towels and toilet paper had some cute finishing touches. The kitchen had proper cooking equipment which was very appreciated cause we like to cook breakfast and pack a lunch to go for long hiking/exploring days. The patio was the perfect place to chill in the early morning and also offered shade on the day time. And the couch in the living room surprisingly fitted all three of us so watching a movie in the late evenings was comfier than expected. Maria was super attentive and always reachable via WhatsApp. Really recommend to stay at her cute cabin!
