A dream place to stay

Pros: This was perfect. Would highly recommend staying here. We definitely would again and again. It was perfect location, amenities (washer/dryer was a huge plus as was the WiFi strength). We’d be happy to just spend the day here relaxing and enjoying the ambiance. So great being close to town but feel a if you are in a beautiful pastoral setting. Thank you, owners, for having this place for visitors to stay.

Pros: Located on a beautiful farm acreage with extensive trails through the forest. Manicured grounds surrounded the house and it was nicely removed from the other rental houses on the property. Wonderful layout with ensuites for both bedrooms. Gorgeous, heavy wood furniture, impeccably clean, very well-equipped functional kitchen. Comfortable beds, beautiful covered patio and enormous windows to see the spectacular views. The host was extremely responsive and helpful and we were greeted with a fresh loaf of bread upon arrival. If i could give this a 12/10 I would. The best place we stayed throughout the whole trip.

Cons: absolutely nothing.

Pros: Spacious, modern house in a beautiful location, 10’ from Santa Elena. We really enjoyed the washing and drying machine after a couple of wet days in the rain forest…

Cons: A hot tub would make it perfect 😉 Self check-in went very smoothly but we would have loved meeting the owner in person.

Pros: Love the location in nature! The house is really beautifully decorated and the view is amazing!

If you are deciding between Olingo and another property...book Olingo, it's divine!

Pros: Olingo was the best property that we stayed at in Costa Rica. A beautiful spacious modern house with excellent facilities, very comfortable beds with the softest bed linen on the planet. A large top loading washing machine and dryer was so useful. We cooked our meals and other than egg cups (not provided in any places we stayed), the kitchen was well stocked. We arrived to complementary bread and good quality fruit jam, good coffee was also provided. The house is surrounded by a lovely garden, we especially enjoyed watching the humming birds on the verbena hedge in front of the house and the horses in the field beyond. The house has a couple of trails you can walk and is not far from Santa Elena, although we had our own car so easy to get around

Beautiful house in beautiful setting!!

Pros: We had the two-bedroom house, and what a great house! Tasteful, modern design and quality furnishings. Beautiful views of the natural environment through the large windows! You are in the middle of the beautiful nature of Monteverde. Spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds. It is cooler (around 2000 meters altitude) than in lower areas of Costa Rica and that is pretty nice. Spacious and complete kitchen. Each room has a large closet and a nice bathroom. The road to the house is unpaved, bumpy and sometimes quite steep. To get there, a 4x4 is not necessary, but recommended. You can sit outside and enjoy the peace, birds and nature, but mind the mosquitoes. About a 10 minute drive from the village, where there are some shops and a few good restaurants. Highly recommended!

Amazing destination!

Pros: Wonderful destination. Great location, super friendly and helpful hosts. For a potential sabbatical in Costa Rica it is the perfect place to stay even a few weeks!

Pros: Amazing view. Very quiet and relaxing. Clean. Great for a family. My kids loved the horses right in front of the house. Eggs and bread at arrival was a nice touch. 5 min from monteverde village but just far enough for this really relaxing site. I highly recommend.

Lovely hosts, amazing property, highly recommend!

Pros: Amazing location with fantastic views. House was clean and comfortable with plenty of space and excellent facilities including washer/dryer. Well informed prior to arrival regarding location and key collection. Complimentary fresh bread and eggs was a nice touch.
